Odd timing... I just started a thread about a ball I'm really loving right now, and only $19.99/dozen.

The Nike ONE Vapor is 29.99. It has extremely good control with solid distance. Bridgestone e6 and Titleist NXT are also really good.

You can get any of the Bridgestone E series for sub $30. Just choose the characteristics you want from your golf ball.

I tried the Top Flite Gamer awhile back and that was pretty decent as well. Only con's I noticed was a clicky feel off the putter face and durability wasn't so great. But a 3 piece ball with decent green spin for less than $20 is a good deal.

Some of the Nike balls are having sales as well. I noticed the Tour balls are $25 on GPP I believe. The Distance balls are less than $20 and are good balls as well.

Top-Flite Gamer would be my choice. Its a 3-piece ball with a urethane cover (so it spins like crazy) that goes for $20 a dozen.
Another good choice would be any of the Bridgestone E-Series balls. They go for about $25 a dozen and while they arent super spinny golfballs, they do perform well.

Best I've ever tried was the ProV1-Practice balls. Same exact ball as the full price version only there may be a cosmetic blemish that you may not even be able to see.

Try the Srixon Soft Feel. If you like a firmer ball, try the Srixon Trispeed. Both are in the $20-25 range.

Trispeed is on sale 2 for $30 around here. Heck of a ball for that kind of money!

Same for me, all the Wal-Mart's in my area have them for $27.50 a dozen, don't know how long that will last. TGW has them online for the same price.

Yeah, wanna make 14 dollars the hard way?

+1 for the TM Burner LDP. I have tried it against all the premiums, and, for my game right now, I don't see any reason to spend more. I generally hit the irons long but high. For most normal greens, even my 4 iron stops within a few feet. The lower irons stop within a a foot or so, or sometimes backup a foot.

It also seems to be a little more forgiving to the occasional extra sidespin I may impart on a drive! :D The misses off the fairway seem to me to be a little less severe.

They are also durable, at least for me.

Niether of the first two are good choices if you want a higher spinning ball.

Give the Bridgestone E5 a try and see what you think. Super ball.

E5 is ok, but it seems to spin waaaaay too much. More than a Pro V1 for me actually...

I'd say hands down NXT tour for a ball at 30 bucks...

I'd champion the Taylor Made Burner TP, Titleist NXT Tour and Bridgestone's E5. All excellent balls. I find the NXT Tour less durable than the other two but the spin is decent if not up there with the E5. Burner TP is probably my choice of the three for its feel; would be the E5 but I find it a bit too firm feeling for chips and putting.

Top Flight Gamer is an interesting one. Very cheap and spins a lot into greens....shreds like crazy though. Someone said it's a urethane cover? I don't think so...soft, thin ionomer I think.

Top Flite D2 Feel, Gamer, Srixon AD333, Bidgestone e5(+)

Best ball under $15 Top Flite D2 Feel
Best ball under $25 Bridgestone e5(+)

I think I prefer the D2 Feel over the Gamer due to better durability.

I like the higher ball flight of the Bridgestone e5(+) and Srixon AD333. Probably prefer the e5(+) due to better spin.

Haven't played the TP red or black, but they are $27 at Wmarts around here.
