so i was watching TGC last week and they showed some tiger's clinic show where he hit balls in front of a small gallery. he was showing them different shots and telling them how to hit them but a lot of the time he wasnt doing what he vocalized.

for example on one particular shot i think it was a knock down 8 iron or something.. he told the audience he put the ball 1 ball width further back in his stance which looked to me as though was a little further back than the center of his stance. but when he went to setup for his shot, the ball was closer to his left heel.. any one else watch the show and see what i saw.. or think i saw?

tiger keeping his secrets to himself? or maybe just teaching the general rules of thumb and not what he does personally?

Tiger did exactly what he was saying. You let the changing camera angles toy with your perception.

And no, neither Tiger's normal nor his knockdown 8-iron is back of center in his stance.

I agree with the camera angle...

and I don't think Tiger can hide anything. If he hasn't figured something out yet, then it's not going to be figured out.

      I've played Bali Hai, Bear's Best and Painted Desert. I enjoyed Bali Hai the most--course was in great shape, friendly staff and got paired in a great group. Bear's Best greens were very fast, didn't hold the ball well (I normally have enough spin to stop the ball after 1-2 hops).  The sand was different on many holes. Some were even dark sand (recreation of holes from Hawaii). Unfortunately I was single and paired with a local "member" who only played the front 9.  We were stuck behind a slow 4-some who wouldn't let me through even when the local left. Painted Desert was decent, just a bit far from the Strip where we were staying.
