Think about it.....

A gallon of seawater weighs about 10 lbs.  A cubic foot of water contains about 7.5 gallons and therefore weighs about 75 lbs.  A cubic yard of seawater weighs about 2,025 pounds.

For visual perspective, assuming a 6 ft tall surfer, a box with about the same dimensions (H x W x L) as the surfer is tall would contain 8 cubic yards of water......and weighs over 8 tons!

So ask yourself, how much weight is gonna crash down on that dude when he gets dumped off the board.....?!   :bugout:

Luckily the hardness of water is minimal, except if moving at high speeds :-D

Yeah. Plus sea water is closer to 8 pounds than 10. :)

Uses the same music as the surfing video

This is still the greatest skateboarding film ever made

Fresh water weighs about 8.3 lbs.  Seawater is more dense and thus weighs a bit more.

When you get hit by a car, the air you get pushed through doesn't offer much resistance either......  ;-)
