He certainly didn't look like he was deserving of all the hype surrounding him after the past two weeks' results. As a kid from Southern California, I'm assuming that Torrey Pines is very familiar territory for him. It's showing this weekend.

Yes. I think the whole Southern Cal lifestyle was a good refresh for him. Hopefully he can live up to the hype and continue to play well.

I watched some of the action earlier and the kid can seriously PUTT! Especially those long lags.

Kid has a lot of talent, should be a strong force on tour for years... The only problem I have with him is I have to wear sunglasses inside the house while watching him on the TV because of those orange pants

Tremendous amount of power through the ball and I still can't get over how great he putts. Oh, and my dad was commenting on his hat today; said it looked too big for him. I had to explain that he's from socal and that's the look these days for kids.

He shot a 70 today that could have easily been 67 if some of those putts that stayed on the lip would have just dropped.

Not a big fan of his impact position in the bit Kostis did in the final round. Bent left arm (at the elbow), handle back and not in a straight line to the clubhead from his left shoulder... kinda odd, really.

Everything about his swing is kinda odd. If it wasn't so fast i'd avoid watching it for fear that it'd mess me up.

At least he plays quickly.

A while ago I saw a series of photos of Nick Faldo, pre-Leadbetter. This looks similar, as I recall.

An impressive tournamenet for him, tho'. Better than I expected.

I gotta say, I think this kid has talent we haven't seen in young guys in a long time. Don't get me wrong, AK is good, Rory is good...This kid has made a bit of a follower out of me. I was watching Sunday routing for him because of his tenacity...unflappable confidence and at times it really seemed like he had been playing on the tour as long as a watney, zach j, ogilvy and the like. The kid can drive the ball well for his stature (all of 5 foot 100 nothin)...and like another mentioned a hot putter and wedges that seemed like the older wedges that according to Feherty, "these young guns have never seen or heard of before." The orange wonder is makin a believer outta me
