The Dubai just ended. The 3rd round ended with four tied for the lead. What determined the last pairing?

As an aside, it was a great field to watch.

Generally, the first player to post his score (a.k.a. the one who shot the lowest score after the third round) gets the preferred tee time. First in, last out.

In my UnderArmour Links stand bag...

Driver: '07 Burner 9.5° (stiff graphite shaft)
Woods: SasQuatch 17° 4-Wood (stiff graphite shaft)
Hybrid: 4DX Ironwood 20° (stiff graphite shaft)Irons/Wedges: Apex Edge 3-PW, GW, SW (stiff shaft); Carnoustie 60° LWPutter: Rossa AGSI+ Corzina...

How about this scenario -- 4 player tournament, 3 rounds long, repairing after each round into twosomes.

Round 1:

Player A: 69.
Player B: 69.
Player C: 71.
Player D: 84.

So in round 2, A and B play in the last pairing, C and D in front of them. C comes in with a 65 (and D with a 90 or something ). A and B each shoot 70. Now the scores are as follows:

Player C: 136.
Player A: 139.
Player B: 139
Player D: 174 (?).

Obviously C plays in the final twosome. How do we determine who his partner is (i.e., between A and B)? Do you ask which of them holed out first on the 36th hole? Coin flip? World golf ranking? Putting contest?

What's in my bag:

Driver: R7 CGB Max, regular shaft
4-wood and 7-wood: :: Launcher, regular shafts
4-iron to A-wedge: X-20, regular steel shafts56- and 60-degree wedge: forged, stiff steel shafts, vintage finish, MD groovesPutter: Circa '62, No. 7, steel shaft, 35"Ball: NXT Tour or ProV1(x)...

You ask them who holed out first, first one to hole out is in the final group.
