Gotta wait for Doctor Who till August. Long wait.

Not sure if anyone brought it up yet, but I started House of Cards yesterday. So far, so good. Sometimes I forget just how great of an actor Kevin Spacey is.

The fiancee and I finished the Dexter series yesterday... Dang, that finale was pretty disappointing. I did not care for that at all.

I heard Dr. Who has a team with him in future season. They are Drs. What When and Where. Cameo appearances by Dr. How.

Anyone else not particularly like this season of Sherlock? I thought it was easily the worst of the three.

Not seen anything modern in the detective type genre. My favorite is Hercule Poirot.

Sounds like many series. First two seasons are good. Third and fourth seasons get weakened by mostly too many plot lines and tangents going on at the same time. I like Holmes ( saw the first ones with Basil Rathbone). Is the series you speak of portraying a younger Holmes or a modern one?

So am I the only one on the planet who didn't realize until last night that they were bringing back 24 this year???  I'm quite excited about this!!

Jack Bauer's interrogation technique:

"Where is the bomb?"

"I don't know what you're talking about"

"Where is the bomb?"

"No idea."

"WHERE IS THE BOMB???"

"I'll never tell you."

"WHERE IS THE BOMB?!?!?!?!?!"

"OK, OK, ... it's in my basement."

Good timing. The second season is coming up soon.

I didn't like the meta-ness of it, but on re-watch, liked the season more. Last episode was very good.

True Detective is amazing so far - would rather have watched it than the Super Bowl if it was on.

Both? It's set in modern day London. If we're assuming the actor is the same age as the character, he's in his 30s.

Just finished the last episode of Sherlock season 3. I'm pretty excited about season 4 now, just wish it wasn't going to be so long until it starts. If the gap between seasons 2 and 3 is any indication, we could be looking at late 2015 to early 2016.

That sucks that the gaps are so long.  Just started watching Sherlock, on episode 2 of the first season, enjoying it so far.

I'm kind of bitter Mad Men is doing two seven episode mini-seasons in 2014 and 2015 to end the series. Just give us all 14 in one year, damn it. I hate this "part one, part two" crap that successful TV shows end up doing.

Recently finished Bron/Broen season 1. Would rate it up there with the best shows on FX/AMC/Sundance.

Mozart in the Jungle pilot on Amazon Instant!

A little over the top but a spunky comedy with classical musicians. Vote for it!

I'm just starting episode three of Band Of Brothers. I've seen the series a few years ago, and knew there were some pretty recognizable faces in it, but whenever I pay close attention I notice a few more.

FWIW, finished today.

I liked it despite not really being a sic-fi fan.

Just finished season 2 of Hell on Wheels on Netflix. Trying unsuccessfully to find somewhere I can watch season 3.
