Tiger is in the control position. But, will someone else sneak in like Ogilvy did at WINGED FOOT?

Sergio can not play on Sunday. The smirking brit has never been tested like this - will the pressure break him? Will Wier stay strong? Phil is still close ... What about Lumpy. If the greens are soft, they will all be throwing darts.

Bury me with a golf glove in my pocket - just in case!

I think Tiger will go on to win the PGA but I don't think it will be easy. He'll get a decent fight out of Weir and Donald but in the end it will just be to hard on them. Tiger can play rock solid 3 or 4 under in his sleep, these other guys are going to have to grind like hell to do it.

BTW, am I the only one who wishes Lanny Wadkins would go play golf on the Champions Tour and get OUT of the broadcast booth!?!? How the hell can he be so critical of these guys when most of them would wax his ass in a second?! Even in his hay day Lanny was never phenominal. He drives me nuts, I sure miss Ken Ventura next to Jim Nantz.

It's going to be a lot of fun tomorrow, has Tiger ever had to make a bunch of birdies in the final round to win a major (maybe the Bob May showdown?)? I think he will have to tomorrow, I expect either Donald, Weir, or Ogilvie to shoot a 66 or 67 to really make it interesting.

If Luke hits his irons like he did in the Honda Classic he can win it. All we need is for Tiger to block alot of drives to the right. Which does happen.

Tiger's the favorite but I'll be pulling for Luke Donald (my Big Ten bias is showing ). Should be an exciting round of golf tomorrow.

I'm also hoping Sergio doesn't dress like a banana tomorrow.

I think its gonna take something pretty special from someone to beat Tiger. Hes massive favourite and the way he hit the ball yesterday was just amazing. On the other hand, Luke for example played really solid as well and if he keeps on playing like that from tee to green and get in some putts on the top of that, hes really hard to beat to. Lets just hope for fight into the last hole and world class entertainment!

Sit back and enjoy!

I'm rooting for Tiger. Again, I like to see greatness, not blemishes on a great record (the whole "wins when he has the lead" thing). I'm sad that Donald's first best run at a major comes now, though. Had Donald not lipped a few putts coming home, he'd have shot 61 or so. I was almost rooting for him to pull ahead of Tiger by one so I could root for Donald and Tiger's record when with the lead would remain untouched.

I'll be live blogging the PGA on the site, starting at 11am ET with TNT's coverage (and Bobby Clampett who, it's been said, must own pictures of network execs in compromising positions to still be on the air). Check the main site for that...

Here is an interesting stat of what Tiger's opponents in final round majors have shot.

THE TIGER FACTOR:
'97 Masters -Rocca -75
'99 PGA - Weir -80
'00 Open - Els -72
'00 British -Duval -75
'00 PGA -May -66
'01 Masters -Mickelson -70
'02 Masters -Goosen -74
'02 Open -Garcia -74
'05 Masters -DiMarco -68
'05 British -Olazabal -74
'06 British - Garcia -73

I'm thinking the wild card still may be Ogilvy. But, I'm pullin' for Tiger ... always have, always will. He's simply the classiest act on tour.

By the way, the live blog is now online . You're encouraged to comment there, and perhaps even reload it as you watch the PGA (during commercials would be a good time).
