Over vacation my family and me will be going to myrtle beach and we are deciding on a place to stay. Barefoot seems to have a great package for golf its 4 nights and 4 rounds of golf for $540 per person. I know the courses there are supposed to be fantastic, some of the best in Myrtle Beach, but when I did a search on the resort there reviews where pretty evenly mixed leaning torwards the better side. I was looking for what those of you here think of the Barefoot Golf and Resort or if you have any other recommendations.

I've heard good things about the Legends resort. If it were me, I'd go for Barefoot just because the courses in my opinion are some of the best in Myrtle. I've played all of the Legends courses and all but one of the Barefoot courses and there's no comparison if you ask me.

I've never stayed at the Barefoot resort, but it looks very nice. Let us know how it is if you end up staying there. I've been considering organizing a golf trip somewhere and $540 per person isn't bad considering all the courses there are around $100.

I agree with the Legends suggestion. You can get a 4 night - 5 round package until May 9 for $520 all in. The same package from May 10 -23 drops to $376.

I have played all but the Dye course at BF and personally like the variety the Legends courses offer.

Legends is currently offering breakfast, lunch, and 2 beers at each course you play included in the price.

Four rounds plus four nights lodging at Barefoot is a great deal. The courses there are among the best in MB. Having said that, the Legends courses are also very good and less expensive. Here are pix of the Legends and Barefoot courses:

    • Eh. He broke ONE of Tiger's records. Youngest to be ranked #1 in AJGA. It didn't help that Tiger's birthday is in late December, or that Tiger didn't play many AJGA events before he was 15. Did he do any of these things? How many of these names do you recognize? A few, for sure. I assure y'all, I'm not trying to pee in your Cheerios. I just don't get what the point is. Okay. I get that, then. Thanks.
    • Day 56: 4/19/2024 Okay, even though I'll be teeing it up in a tournament in less than a week. I couldn't find time to get to the range today.  I spent time on the indoor putting mat.  And I spent time in front of the mirror with my 7 iron. Then again later with the driver.  I also thoroughly cleaned all my clubs.
    • Just stumbled onto the article.  Totally random and thought it might be interested to hear other thoughts. maybe I am tired of all the LIV crap and  this just caught my attention.
    • Day 1: Spent some time hitting some balls. Working on my hips and a “soft” and straight trail arm.
