Does anyway have any golf gloves that they really like? I have probably tried every glove out there and they either 1) get a hole after 2 weeks or 2) don't give me the proper feel on the club..

I have tried ALOT of gloves and they all seem to rip after a few rounds,... Mine ALWAYS rip at the middle of my index finger. drives me nuts..as for the feel, I have used quite a few that were just fine.
Luckily , we have a liquidation store by our house and whenever they get gloves I buy all they got since they are usually only $3.00 .. I am using Callaways right now since i have 4 of them and they seem to be really good on fit & feel, but after 4 rounds, the index finger is ripping. But I have a Max Fli & Taylor made also that I need to try out.

I absolutely love FootJoy Stasof. When it rips on me, it is only on the outside palm, never in the fingers.

I went through one every 2-3 weeks last year and went in and bought a calloway warbird glove, fully expecting to replace it after 2-3 weeks. It was a 2-pack deal and I can say that I still have a new glove in my bag and the first one has YET to have a single tear in it and I've been playing 4-5 months with it! I'll definitely NEVER buy another brand!!!!! VERY comfortable and feel as well!!

I've used FootJoy WeatherSoft the past few years and love them. They are traditional looking (no fancy inlay or material patterns, etc.), seem quite durable, fit my hand nicely, provide plenty of grip and are reasonably priced.

I usually keep two on hand. One to use at the range and one to use when playing a round. Seems like I get a new range glove every month and a new course glove every month and a half.

I've been using the FootJoy WeatherSof and really like them. I bought a 3 pack for $21 at the PGA superstore a few months back. But they can be found for $17.95 for 2. Good price for a good feeling glove.

i like the nike dura soft glove....and i like it one size smaller so it isnt all bunchy in my hand. i have a calloway glove that is just wearing out which is durable and a good value. i dont really like how it feels, but it is actually my size so that might be why.

Awards, Achievements, and Accolades

I also use the FootJoy WeatherSof. Depending on how much I play and range time, I go through one every other month or so. What I need to do is get one for practice and one for rounds because I think the range is what really kills my gloves. Also, it gets above 100F in the summer here and hand sweat also increases the wear and tear.

What I absolutely love about the glove, I think someone else mentioned, is it isn't fancy. Plain white with a FJ logo on the velcro. That's it.

I play the Mizuno gloves for under $12. I also try on the glove at the store since every glove feels a little different before I buy. If you are wearing out your glove with a hole your gripping too tight..

I've found the best deal for me is the Nike Elite Feel. I've tried to find a less expensive, synthetic glove but there's just no comparison to full cabretta leather gloves. The Elite Feel has an understated, classic look.

Appears gloves continue to move closer to the look of ROBO-GOLFER.

On a general level, and after a bit of personal experimentation, I will never go back to using an "all weather" synthetic-type glove. The minute I pulled on a full leather glove (a free Mizuno Retroflex that I got with my irons) I knew I'd been missing out. Sure they'll wear out quicker, but the level of feel/touch is worth it in my opinion.

Another vote for the FJ Weathersoft. It's a decent glove at a good price (under $10). It's durable and it really perfoms well when the weather turns hot.

One thing to add as well (I know it's been discussed here before); if you are ripping/wearing holes in your gloves after 2-3 weeks, your grip is almost for sure not correct. Usually you can tell by the type of wear you are getting exactly what is wrong and what you should change in your grip (can't remember specifics off the tope of my head).

I use the titliest glove. I can ususally get 2 or 3 weeks out of one before they become too stinky and dingy to wear.

Has anybody used the bridgestone? I got a couple of them this last weekend, and I am really excited to give them a go! I have been a FJ/ Soft Joy person forever, and when trying them on they all seemed like their quality was decreasing! The number of options from FJ is overwhelming lately... I used to be a huge fan, but i think i am going to make a switch for good, or until they make a glove i like again.

    • Agree. The next omission needs to be that ridiculous team concept. Nobody cares about a team when they really don’t represent anything except being a group of diminished morality and/or washed up pro golfers. Or wait, we’ve also got total nobodies who’ve accomplished nothing who now get a participation trophy! Doesn’t that sound invigorating!
    • LIV moving to 72 holes is a subtle admission that 54 holes was nothing but a joke all along.
    • I was going to start a thread, but this seems like the place.  Yesterday I played my matchplay match at my local club.  My opponent is a notorious sandbagger by reputation.  The pro once pulled his tournament rounds from the past several years and said that it is impossible his tournament rounds are legit based on his handicap. here is what happened last night.  I am getting 4 shots from him.  His current handicap index is 15.3 i shot 45 on the front.   Was down 4 after nine, he had three birdies and shot even par. I was closed out on thirteen, we halved with a bogey.  That bogey put him one over par for his round.   He then took a triple on 14 and then left. As if that wasn’t bad enough, he lied about his score.   I wrote down on my scorecard what the score was.  He put higher values that didn’t affect the outcome of the match to pad his score and apparently make it not look as obvious.   He shot 36 on the front, but claimed 40.  The higher values for his score were in the online scoring app our club uses.  He did it this way: I won #7. He had a 2 foot putt for par that if he made would still lose the hole.   He picked up and said it didn’t matter since I won.  He took a 5 instead of a 4 after picking up a gimme. on #8 his approach shot on this par 4 was 8 inches.  I verbally conceded the putt but I had hit into a hazard.  I finished the hole with a 6.  Instead of birdie he put in for par. on #9, another par 4, his approach was to 18 inches.  I missed my par putt and then knowing how close I verbally conceded the putt.  I missed my bogey putt, he never conceded mine.  Instead of birdie he put down a bogey. He padded his score by 4 shots on the front.  And then did again on 10.  I rinsed one and made 6 on a par 4.  I putted out and he was fishing balls out of the lake so I drove off to the next tee.  He had 15 feet laying two but claimed a 5.     love to know the odds of a 15 handicap being even thru 12 holes on a round of golf.
