I currently am gaming a 51* x22 approach wedge, a 54* cg15 and 58* cg15.....are these good gap's for my wedges? I also have in the bag a 56* niblick if my other wedges fail me, since it's easier to hit.....Any suggestions or does it look ok?

Wedge gaps depend on how far you hit them, not the lofts. How far do you hit each club? If you don't know, it would probably be useful to measure it.
In the bag: Titleist 909D2 9.5°, 906F2 15°, 585H 17°, AP2 710 3âPW, Vokey SM 52.08 & 58.12, Studio Select Newport 33", Pro V1X.
Home course: Lenzie Golf Club. Working on: ball striking.

I know I've seen a lot of people adhere to the 4* gap rule with wedges, so yours seems pretty good to me, what's the degree of your PW? 48 usually. If so, a more ideal setup would be 52-56-60, which you said you already have a 56 you like and hit well.

I guess the real issue is, do you hit them ok, and are the distances overlapping appropriately? If so, it doesn't matter what the loft is really.

On a personal note, I see we hit the same putter, I love this thing, don't you?

Couldn't be happier with the putter! I haven't had a chance to measure the gaps in the 54 and 58 as i just ordered it.....but I thought that a 4* gap between each would be good to start out with......if it helps any i hit the 56* and 58* approx the same distance unless I skull it of course lol

Then I wouldn't worry about the gaps, if you like the 56* better, seem to hit it better, put it in the bag and pull the 58! My guess is you like the look and feel of the CG15 more though, and that does count!

Am I doing something wrong? I can only hit my 51* 100 yards.....and my current 56 and 58 no more than 50 yards.....i haven't had a chance to hit the 54 yet, but am I just not strong enough or am I hitting my wedge's incorrectly?

pull the 56 , and drop a 60. the CG 15 is brilliant.

and work on ure swing. if u hit the 51 100 yards, u shud be able to hit the 56 about 80-75 and the 60 about 60 i guess. =D

I doubt it. I'd love to hit my wedges shorter distances. I don't swing hard or like some wild man, but it hit my wedges a long way. I'm trying to tone is down so I can get some spin on the greens (when I actually hit a green. LOL)

My 60 degree maxes at 110. 52 degree at 150. My CG15 56 degree is new to the bag so I haven't really hit that much to give a number. Its swing weight is a lot heavier than my CG14's as well. This year is the first that I'm able to hit the driver and so far it's been a lot of fun. now If I can get some touch and accuracy with these wedges, I can finally beat my best score of 87.

Damn man I just had to beg my wife into letting me buy the 54* it never ends! LOL.....i'm currently concentrating on getting my driver to straighten out right now.....and then i'll work on my short game.....i find that if I have a straight drive off the tee it lowers my score tremendously......remember all of these yardages are just on the mat at the driving range so they may be different on the real turn of the course.....

ure going the wrong way dude. a short game is the first thing to develop. meanwhile hit ure hybrid of the tee. that should be straight enough. dont hit the driver on the corse until ure absolutely confident that it will go straight and a considerable distance. on the range and the cours ekeep dialling in the distance on those wedges, and perfect them to a point where u instinctly reach for the correct club. develop a comfort on using them. also i cant c why u cant work on wedges and driver at the same time =D

You either have a ridiculously fast swing speed or you are de-lofting the hell out of your clubs….my guess is the latter.

LOL true I guess I could bring my wedges to the range......would the fact that i'm hitting balls off a mat at the range have to do with my distances?

I'd go with the latter as well. I don't "think" my swing speed is that fast.
