...to consistently compete with Tiger. What I mean is when you look at Tigers pedigree I really don't see anyone on the horizon or currently on Tour that has a game or even the ability to elevate his existing game to compete with Tiger on week-in...week-out basis. Can anyone raise their existing level of play to the degree that it will challenge Tiger? Another thread asked if Tiger can improve? Can anyone else improve enough to make Tiger take notice? I don't see any amatuers, NationWide, or collegiate players that had the same "take notice" game as when Tiger was coming up.

Nope. Phil Mickelson is closest, and he's at least only 50% as good as Tiger.

J/K. Tiger's dominant. I don't see that changing any time soon.

Awards, Achievements, and Accolades

You know, I think the three important factors of Talent, Motivation, and opportunity do not intersect but once a generation.

Phil is talented. He now has other interests (like kids) pulling on him.

Duval was talented - lost the motivation.

You never hear of those that don't have an opportunity.

Those without the talent just make a good living on tour and can never compete with the likes of Nelson, Snead, Hogan, Nicklaus and Woods.

One last differentiating factor is "killer instinct" - not ever thinking losing is "ok"

To answer your question, not till Tiger gets old or goes through another swing change.
