It seems like the string of bad luck for Tim Clark is over after more than 8 years of frustrations and under achievements he now won the Players Championship. Is this the start of new era for golf? I think for years to come, the sport will not be dominated by a single player. Every title will be up for grabs for many players who were considered inferior in the past.

New era because the player with the highest earnings without a win finally got one? Every title has always been up for grabs for any player, but Tiger has always been there threatening to take the first spot. There may be more people winning now because Tiger is going through a rough patch at the moment. The last 10 years has been about one player, and that is Tiger.

I was really happy to see Clark break through. I've liked him for a long time and he just seems like a pretty cool guy. He was steady down the stretch. Another crusher for Westwood. Starting to think he just won't ever get it done.

yeah, but people were saying that about Clark after he squandered chance after chance. I still think it'll happen for Westwood. Maybe not a major, I don't know, but definitely a notable PGA event.

Congrats to Clark. Was nice to see him finally pull through.
