Whats the difference between the Callaway x22 and x22 tour irons?

I believe the only difference is that the X22 Tour is made with a thinner profile while the X22 has a thicker sole and top line, made to be much more forgiving.

From what I can tell on their website, yeah. The loft seems to be the same...one's just made for "players" while the other isn't.

Fairly consistent with the way Callaway releases certain products. Callaway X fairway woods VS Callaway X Tour fairway woods, etc.

As golfro said, the X-22 Tour are the better players version of the X-22. I would think they're a little more expensive, but they have a smaller topline and bladelenght as well as a better shaft (I think it's the Project X). The X-22 are a very forgiving club but Callaway is coming out with both so that "better players" can still have a pretty forgiving club with more workability in the Tour version.

The Pros have a lot less offset too.

the Tours have thinner topline, thinner sole, less offset, sl longer hosel, as well as upgraded shafts. The results are slightly higher center-of-gravity and easier workability. I play the X20 Tours, the X22's predecessor and love them. They're by no means "blades", but are a nice blend between players' irons with lots of game improvement features & forgiveness.

Driver: Cleveland Classic 270, 10.5*
Fairway Woods: Adams Speedline LP (3 & 5)
Hybrids: Wilson Staff Fybrids 21*, 24*, UST V2 stiff
Irons: Callaway X-20 Tour, 5-PW, Rifle Project-X (flighted) 6.0
Wedges: Cleveland CG15 DSG 52* & 58* +/- 56* Niblick

Putter: Yes! Amy

iam shocked that if ur playing of +1 and u dont know what type of clubs they are.

What I find funny is that a 1.7 index has 19 clubs in the bag.

i dont know why he deleted but he actually explained at one point that he is completely new and didn't know what a handicap was so he put 1.7 down since that was an example it gave him or something.

      I would recommend spending some time at the range and film your swing. You can post it in the Member Swings thread. At the range, you can figure out how to control the driver a bit more. We can offer some pointers once you post in the Member Swings section.

      With the H4 or the watch, you tag the club before hitting by putting the tag next to the device. The tag is on the club butt end. After a round, you don’t really think about it too much. You just do it. I don’t know how far you are from @phillyk, but he may know an instructor in your area.

      So the biggest issue right now is marrying the hands down with an athletic turn. I can get stuck not turning. Things get interesting from there.

      Hi everybody!  I am new to the golf game. I have taken some lessons and got fitted for clubs a couple of months ago. I usually score between 110-120 for 18 holes.  I bought a Stealth driver last year and have been hitting consistently with it 210-230 yds on the simulator. But when I take it out on the course, every drive is a severe slice!  I played 18 holes yesterday at the club where I belong. I removed the driver from my bag and used the 5 iron to drive with. I hit straight 16 out of 18 drives, 180 - 200 yds. I used the 5i - putter for the rest of my game.  I ended the day with a 92. Question: Does it make sense for me to continue playing with irons only until I get further along in my game before I reintroduce the Driver and woods again? Or should I continue to struggle with the Driver and woods and shoot in the 100’s again? To me it’s a no brainer, but for those more advanced I am interested to get feedback.
