There are quite a few guys here with GigaGolf equipment.

I play the GX922 irons, and the GX2 hybrids. The stuff is totally legit, they have amazing customer service and are very prompt in all questions and concerns. I emailed one of the guys and got a personal response ten minutes later. They have a 30 day gaurantee for a full refund and a 1 year warranty on defective parts. You can't beat the prices either.

There are three different guys at my range that have bought GigaGolf stuff after hitting mine. Two guys bought hybrids, and another older guy switched from old blades to the irons I have. They were all amazed at how good it was as well. They ship prompt takes about four days. I ordered on a Monday afternoon and got my clubs Friday two seperate times. Also as long as you know some basic measurements you can use their Efit system to get the length of the shaft and lie of the club fit to your hieght and arm length. It's a great company with high quality stuff. I'll be ordering from them again the next time I need to upgrade or replace my clubs...

Also what part of Kentucky are you from? I grew up in Owensboro and now live in Murray

My whole bag is GigaGolf. Impressively high quality clubs and great customer service.

The stock graphite shafts don't seem to really work for me. I recommend upgrades.

Somerset. You're not going to show up at the driving range with a silenced 9mm, are you? I've already had that happen once...

I'm considering the TRX Ion Control iron with Dynamic Gold shafts. My TM's are custom fit, so I know my specs. Comes in handy... Thanks for the replies, keep 'em comin'!

Well, I wouldn't bring any guns, but I was gonna offer to let you take a few swings if you were close, but Pulaski is pretty far from me....

Here's a few pics of mine...

Thanks nuck81 and jonnythan. I'm going to plead my case with the CEO (wife) for final approval. I'm also considering a 60* wedge. That would be a good for me to ease into this and get an idea for quality without a major investment. Really appreciate the help!

why not just buy 1 club and if you like them expand from there?
maybe ring them up and ask for a free demo club?

Nice thing is you can order a whole set and have 30 days to play them and send them back if you don't like them.

  • 5 weeks later...
Are their clubs supposed to be knock off versions ?
for instance the clubs on their site look very similar to the new Ping irons, Taylor Mades, Callaways and Adams irons. Thought if i hit one of the "real" versions well at the shop, might consider the Giga version..
I had Pal Joey Ping Eye 2 knock offs back in the day and liked them.

Still haven't made a purchase, but I kind of think of Giga as in between the big boys and "knock-offs". Their designs don't seem too original, but they appear to work with good materials. Check out the strange European TV show spot that featured GigaGolf vs. Callaway. They found their wasn't much difference between the two. Certainly not hundreds of dollars worth.

They are their own brand, but they don't do any R&D; on their own. Basically they base their own designs on existing tech. They are totally legit and their equipment is as high as quality as the OEM.

They are honest about what they are and let their equipment speak for itself. I've made three seperate purhases from GigaGolf and have been more than pleased with every one. A GREAT company...

Several years ago I did purchase some X14 clones (Acer) from Giga Golf. This was when the business was young so not sure my experience is relevant, but one of the clubs had shafts break where the shaft was inserted into the club head. When I repaired it I found that in roughing up the surface for the epoxy the shaft had been gouged and that caused the failure. I replace the shaft and used the set for several years and best I can tell they performed as well as any clubs I have owned. My Grandson now plays with them when he visits. For whatever it is worth I would buy again from Giga Golf.

I've got nearly enough GigaGolf clubs to put together a full bag. Everything but the irons. All their clubs are good, and their service is great. I got a driver with a shaft that was too stiff; I sent it back and they replaced it with a more flexible one. I just had to pay for shipping both ways. I really like the SGS wedges. I'm not good at controlling spin, but if you want to spin the ball, these will do it. I just wish they had more loft options. (I need a 50° and 54°.)

I have one of their 2h and a 3 wood. I don't use the 3w any longer, but only because i found a Callaway 3w at an exceptional price. I will most likely use them again.

What the heck. I just ordered a 7 iron from them with a Dynamic Gold shaft. Used the shaft length and lie information from their online "efit" system. They suggest +.25 inch and +1 degree. Will let you know how it works out.

    • Hitting some good shots on my golf trip. It's good I can tell when I hit better shots the way I want to swing the ball versus when I use an older swing. Shockingly, the short game has been at worst, not harmful to my game. I am using similar feels to the full swing, in that I try to get my hands down. I've been nipping the ball clean off the turf.
    • I was laid off two months ago. Good severance, a 90 day layoff announcement regulation the company wanted to avoid so technically I'm still on the payroll for a few weeks, and a bunch of banked PTO, so I'm in a great spot and working on a startup idea I've been batting around with my brother for a while. That means I've got time to get to the gym! I'm at like 60-75 minutes 5x a week of strength training, and either a run or a bunch of time playing soccer or tennis with my daughter on the weekends. Stronger than I've been in forever. Up ~5 pounds of (noticeable!) muscle!
    • Do you have examples of exceptional scores versus their established handicap indexes?

    • A bit of background. The Southern California Golf Association (SCGA) runs an annual event known as "Team Play." It is a wildly popular match play competition where Men's Clubs across the region put together teams of 20+ golfers together to compete against other clubs in a 16 vs. 16 match. In any given year, approximately 80-100 clubs will participate. Each club is grouped into "pods" of 4, and will play 6 total matches - one home and one away match against the other 3 clubs. The winning club from each pod advances to the Team Play Playoffs - a single elimination format - until a winner is crowned.  Antelope Valley Country Club just advanced to the championship match for the 3rd consecutive year. They won the championship in both 2022 and 2023.  Based on my review of the match history from the past 3 years (linked below), they have won 21 consecutive team matches. Keep in mind, these are handicapped matches, so this is not just a case where a group of sticks bands together to dominate the poor amateurs other SoCal clubs. Even if these guys are grinders who never quit, play their best under pressure and routinely putt the lights out, the law of averages still say that a streak of that nature is mathematically impossible.  Is there any plausible explanation beyond institutionalized sandbagging throughout the club?
