Anyone available to play on this date? I'll be visiting the SD area & would like to meet up w/someone if possible. Looking to play early in the day, but I'm flexible. 6th of July might be an option also--depends on whether the wife comes along (she's a beginner). I'll play just about anywhere & with anyone that respects the game. -LBB

I'm sorry that none of my fellow San Diegans have replied to your invite. I'm having to sit the year out dealing with a spinal injury or I'd be delighted to host you at one of our many lovely courses. C'mon SD Sand Trappers, isn't there someone who can show this European visitor a little local hospitality?

Thanks for the reply, Clambake. Sorry to hear about the injury--I just fought through a period of sciatica, so I know what it's like to be out of commission. Hopefully someone will take me up on the request, but if not, I'm sure I'll meet some great ppl on the course. -LBB

Hi,
I might be able to play Saturday morning if I don't have to go to the birthday party of a distance relative. My wife wants to go but I am trying to convince her not to go. I will know by Thursday and will let you know. If you already have a foursome then please let me know. I can use golfnow.com to book something if we go out togetther.

I will go check out the link--we just got into town today. Mother-in-Law gave me a $150 gift cert to Bonita Golf Club, but I've played there & would like to hit a new track on Saturday. I will PM you with my contact info since we will be headed to the fair tomorrow & running around everywhere b/w now and Saturday.       Day 35, June 8. Before leaving for work this morning (yes, I'm posting this quite late relative to the practice), I spent 15 minutes practicing at home, into a net.  This time, it was primarily 9-iron (full swings), with some UW (full and half) and a few 6-iron.

      I'm liking this. Finally getting down hands in front of my trail leg pocket consistently at A6 with much better clubhead position (relatively not as tipped out). I can really pressure the shaft through impact with good face control  from this position and stay in balance. Won my first one v one march 5&4 against a 4 hcp who routinely drives it 35-40 yards past me in the men's club match play . Frustrated him with some solid iron play and air tight putting.

      Day 279 6-8  Worked on low point control skills work tonight. will be doing this for a few weeks. Tonight was just trying figure out how to get low point forward.  No ball.

      Day 8 (Jun 8 26) - Stayed the drill but added two additional irons (7i, 8i and 9i) - using Divot Board and hard foam balls - focused on tempo and purposed pause at the top….noticing how open the club is marking the board when I try to kill it and how much more square (and better distance) when I focus on these keys.
