I played this one today. It was very challenging for me. I was very deceived by it. Being in the Smoky mountains, I couldn't believe how different it looked to me. I haven't played very many different courses, but looking down some of the fairways, with the hole info stating 430 yds, it looked like it was maybe 200 yards. I caught myself waiting for guys to get off the green when they were over 400 yards away. I was afraid I was going to hit them. That's how different it seemed to me. There were some drives that I made that were also much farther than I thought I could hit. I drove up to the two guys that were in front of me and apologized to them for getting too close to them on one hole. They told me that I didn't get close but they did make a comment to each other that someone behind them was driving the heck out of the balls. That part made me feel pretty good, but I sure thought I was rushing them on a shot. Glad that wasn't the case. I think I lost about 7 balls on this course today. It was tough for me. Doesn't matter though.... it was still a great time!

I'll have to say that this is the course that made me feel much better with my irons. I was hitting them with conviction today. Very pleased with that part of my game.
