Can you believe... We play a Golf Digest/Golf Mag/Golfweek... Ranked in the top 100 (68)...

For under $30.00 (26.00 to be exact..) ... Of course the cart is included.

Pine Barrens at World Woods Golf in Brooksville, FL

I dare say this CAN NOT be matched anywhere in the USA.

Remember... Course must be ranked by one or both of the above mags...

That's a great deal. Does the $26 green fee come from any membership plan?

Speaking of nice, cheap courses, I was looking at TPC Deere Run recently, it looks very reasonably priced. I'd play it if I were ever in the area and had the time to do so.

That's awesome. You're right I can't match it. That's a great deal. but shoot. Pick a course in Hawaii on Oahu and I've played it for less than $40. Palmer course at Turtle Bay? yup. Fazio course at Turtle bay? yup. Shoot I played the Palmer for free once. Coral creek was $33 I think. New Ewa golf course was $30 the other day. Hawaii Kai is $30-something and they have the Sony Open there every year. Ko'Olau has been rated one of the most beautiful and one of the hardest and twilight is under $40 there. I could go on and on but I don't want to. You have to be a resident here though for those rates. So the trade off for playing these gorgeous and tough courses year round is you have to live in Hawaii. It's tough. hahaha.

Yes! $26 is for World Woods 'premier card' members....

Which is $110 per year.

2 ranked courses plus 4 hole practice plus huge range and massive undulated pitching and putting area.

AND .....No homes... Out in the boonies.

Truly a pleasure to play and obsorb the beauty!

We are fortunate.

    • Day 35, June 8. Before leaving for work this morning (yes, I'm posting this quite late relative to the practice), I spent 15 minutes practicing at home, into a net.  This time, it was primarily 9-iron (full swings), with some UW (full and half) and a few 6-iron.
    • Day 73: just some mirror work today. Working on feels for being open and getting the front shoulder down.
    • I'm liking this. Finally getting down hands in front of my trail leg pocket consistently at A6 with much better clubhead position (relatively not as tipped out). I can really pressure the shaft through impact with good face control  from this position and stay in balance. Won my first one v one march 5&4 against a 4 hcp who routinely drives it 35-40 yards past me in the men's club match play . Frustrated him with some solid iron play and air tight putting.
    • Day 279 6-8  Worked on low point control skills work tonight. will be doing this for a few weeks. Tonight was just trying figure out how to get low point forward.  No ball.
    • Day 8 (Jun 8 26) - Stayed the drill but added two additional irons (7i, 8i and 9i) - using Divot Board and hard foam balls - focused on tempo and purposed pause at the top….noticing how open the club is marking the board when I try to kill it and how much more square (and better distance) when I focus on these keys.
