OK, I stand corrected.
I think the point is still valid though. I play MP-32's and love them, but I know they are really too much club for me, I only have them due to my stupid ego and lust. I think unless you are able to practice/play at least 3-4 times a week you probably aren't getting any benefit from blades or something like the Titleist CB, and really should be looking at the AP2's or MP-58/53.
I've had a hit a the AP2's not long ago and really liked them, very forgiving and a nice solid feel. They don't have nearly as much feedback as my 32's though. I didn't really think much of the MP-58's, they just didn't feel like Mizuno irons. The MP-53's are back to the great butter soft Mizzy feel though, and are pretty damn forgiving. I reckon a combo set of the 53's and 63's would be mint.

I didn't think the 58's had the normal mizuno feel. Still soft but not the mizuno feel.

i agree and alot of people who have hit the 58's say the same thing. Its because of that titanium insert or whatever it is behind the hitting area

I just bought my mp53 over ap2 after hitting them both for about 3weeks. Mp 53 was easier to hit and felt better but what do I know... Both are great irons. Just try them both

They are all top quality. I had the MP 60s but didn't work for me. They felt great on sweet ones but the misses didn't go anywhere. Great feel doesn't equal great scores. The new CBs are mean looking. Since your buying new, i'd just make sure to get fit and ones you love.

All forged clubs are the same assuming they use the same metal 1025 etc... Mizuno on the other hand uses a computer frequency to harness the sweet spot on each iron head based on sound and frequency as I stated. This to me seperates them. I like the design of the Titleist mb better though fatter head.

There not really the same, depending if there muscle back, or some have cavity back, or some like Mizuno add a different density metal to achieve feel and stability. Some have more offset, or larger soles, or maybe larger clubheads. The metal might be the same, but how they are built effects them greatly. 

 

Out of all the brands, i think Mizuno does put more detail into there forged irons. Titleist makes a good forged as well. The reason i like these two, because they specifically work on how the ball sounds off the clubface. Like smell is to tasting, hearing is to feel on a golf club. You can tell a ton about were you hit the golf ball by how it sounds.

 

Personal preference, i think Mizuno's just feel better to me. 

 

But that's all that matters at the end of the day, personal preference.
