Mizuno Irons, wow

I just got to demo a mizuno mp32 6 iron and it was seriously a nice iron. My question is what do you guys think is the best mizuno iron to buy in this line? I held the mizuno mp68 at the store but didnt hit it like the mizuno mp32. When I held the mp68 i think it felt a tiny bit lighter than the mp32 but man I was hitting that mp32 soooo good. So anybody who knows alot about mizuno irons please give me some input as to which one to buy out there, Im new to them. are the mp32s pretty much the best ones?

Well, I've tried the Mp-58 and the Mp-52 and I truly LOVED the mp-58 while the mp-52 felt a bit dead in my hands when I hit it. It might be because I was shooting of a mat and not on real grass with the 52's but I would go for the 58's if I had to choose between them.

yea I would like to hit the mp58 now to compare to the mp32. I just dont know much about mizuno irons, was hoping some people on here who do can chime in.

I personally like the 32s and a lot of other people are a fan of them as well.

I have Mizuno Fairway woods and Mizuno wedges. When I decide to retire the Clevelands I will definately buy a set of Mizunos. I,d demo all of them and which ever felt the best is what I would buy. My personal opinion is Mizuno builds the highest quality irons on the market. Which ever ones you end up with will last you many years.

no Im not but I want to try some mizuno irons for awhile and I hit the mp32s pretty good.

Then I'd recommend the MP32s-go with the irons you actually hit well, not ones that you hope will be similar.

well my local golf shop had a brand new set of Mizuno mp-32 3-pw that they gave me for my titleist ap2 710 4-pw but I had to pay 50.00 on top of that. Im pleased with the deal, got a 3 iron now and I hit the mizunos better.

I had a set of mp-60's and they were great. I loved em. But if you really like that soft Mizuno feel, try some Bridgestones. My J36's feel better than my mizuno's did, although they probably don't have quite the reputation of Mizuno.

yea Il have to try them. I was hitting the mp-32s at a higher trajectory than the ap2's and the feeling was pure. I also felt I could work the ball alot more with the mp-32's which makes sense sense they are more of a blade.

Well, you've got all the key buzzwords in there, so it sounds like the MP-32s are the ones to get.

My Mizunos feel fantastic. Even practice swings feel great - can't wait to hit that ball. The end result is typically decent, but when I'm playing well, I find my Clevelands and APex PCs get the ball closer to the hole. I feel the distance control is better with a less meaty muscleback. I'll probably never give up my mizzies because they way they look and feel is second to none (imvho), but being pin high beats a downhill putt from the back fringe any day.

I dont know about that, Bridgestones are pretty well-respected irons. They might be on the same level as Miuras or Epons; but they are easily as respected as Mizuno or Srixon.

You might want to try a set of Mizuno MX-200s or MX-300s. They have much of the feel of an MP iron but are more forgiving.

If I hadnt bought my MP-32s used and got a great deal on them, I would have been forced to make a tough decision between the 200s and 300s.

I'll stick with my MP-11s and mix in rounds with the other blades here and there whenever I feel like it thanks.

Ive tried the mx-300's they are ok for game improvement but arent really on the same level as the more player irons IMO.

Which mizuno irons do you have? Yea with the ap2's I could hit them very solid but they never give a high ball flight. They always give a boring ball flight, I thought it was just my swing until I tried the mp-32's and they were going about 5-10 yards higher on every shot. Might of been the tungsten insert on the ap2s, i dunno

Yes they are well respected. And great clubs. Just don't understand Bridgestones PR department. They could have much more of the market share, but they hardly advertise their clubs, and don't pay many tour players. Guess thats what I meant. More people would love them like me, but they hardly consider them.

      Taking your dispersion and distance in consideration I analyzed the 4 posible ways to play the hole, or at least the ones that were listed here. I took the brown grass on the left as fescue were you need to punch out sideways to the fairway and rigth of the car path to be fescue too.  Driver "going for the green"  You have to aim more rigth, to the bunker in order to center your shotzone in between the fescue.  Wood of 240 over the bunkers I already like this one more for you. More room to land between the fescue. Balls in the fescue 11% down from 30% with driver. Improve of score from 4.55 to 4.40. 4 iron 210 yards besides the bunkers.    Also a wide area and your shot zone is better than previous ones. This makes almost the fescue dissapear. You really need to hit a bad one (sometimes shit happens). Because of that and only having 120 yards in this is the best choice so far. Down to 4.32 from 4.40. Finally the 6 Iron 180 yards to avoid all trouble.    Wide area an narrow dispersion for almost been in the fairway all the time. Similar than the previous one but 25 yards farther for the hole to avoid been in the bunkers. Average remains the same, 4.33 to 4.32.  Conclusion is easy. Either your 4iron or 6 iron of the tee are equaly good for you. Glad that you made par!
