Am a little bored at work today so I figured I would waste some time on the net. I was checking out the Taylor Made webpage for the R9 460 FCT adjustments under the technology tab and noticed that the setup for the "Neutral" position has a square face with a 1 degree flat lie, which according to the chart promotes a small fade. The setup for the "Neutral Upright" position has a square face with a 1 degree upright lie, which promotes a small draw.

I bought my R9 about 8 weeks ago and really like the club, but have noticed that I have been having a small fade (5-15 yards) on most of my drives, but was assuming I wasn't getting the club face closed at impact and that I was still getting use to the new club. I have kept it set to neutral as I wanted to learn how to work the ball with my swing rather then adjusting the club head to achieve the ball flight.

Question 1, for those that use TM drivers with the FCT adjustments, if you have changed the setup from "Neutral" to "Neutral Upright", or vice versa, did you notice the difference, and if so, what was it?

Question 2, I have a 9.5 degree driver, so does the 1 degree flat lie actually make it a 8.5, and the 1 degree upright make it a 10.5? Or is neutral, even with the flat lie, the actual 9.5 position?

Thanks!

Gus
