Just curious what your lowest in 18 holes is? (putting everything out, tournament style)

I just had 23 putts today putting everything out. Boy did it feel sweet. Every time I stepped up to the ball I had the overwhelming confidence that I was going to sink it. Be it from 2ft or 20ft. Felt great to get the putter working smooth again.

Shot a 74. :) 6600 yards 71.2 rating 120 slope

Limited rounds so far, but my best was 36 putts on my par 3 chip/putt 18-hole course. Front 9 I was a bit up and down, but still managed an even 18 (two 3s, two 1s), and Back 9 I made 2 putts on every hole. :) Granted my approaches/tee shots weren't good, but it was decent for me.

Since I started tracking stats this year, my record is 28 for 18 holes. I've done that 3 times this year and shot +2, +1, and -1. Ironically yesterday I had 36 putts, a season worst, and shot +2. For 9 holes my record is 13.

26 putts for 18 holes. I believe steward Appleby had 23 putts when he shot 59 at Greenbrier a couple of weeks ago, he attributes his good putting to going left hand low.

I think it is 26 for 18. I had I know 12 in 9 and shot 39 in my league. Yeah, I can't hit greens.

I did the same thing the other week but shot a 61! I've played golf for a long time, on and off, but never had a lesson until 2 months ago. I used to hit major slices every time and not be able to even keep score (or just take max strokes for every hole). I was always pretty decent at chipping and putting, though.

Now I'm swinging a lot better but hitting super short. On the 61 round, I hit a lot of fairways but my drive (5wood) is about 150 yards. I also made a lot of mishits where the ball would just dribble 25-50 yards up the fairway . . (but I didn't hit any slices and didn't go OB at all, so I was actually quite happy with my performance). I found myself a few yards off a lot of greens, after 5, 6, 7 swings to get there, though. My local course has easy greens, too, which helped a lot. GIR is really a key stat - lol.

    • Day 76 - Pretty sore today, so I opted for putting over my Stack session. Primary focus was on starting line, as my putting has been pretty poor this year.
    • Been a bit of delay in updates but I needed to come back east as my mom's health has taken a serious turn for the worse. In a 3 day span we learned she had a tumor to she has stage 4 cancer and stopped eating and drinking for the most part. She has had a rough 3 months but certainly didn't think we'd be at the point of setting up hospice for her. My mom was never into any sports really other than following the Red Sox because my dad was a big fan. She always cared about what we were involved in including asking about how golf went.  I have kept up with my 5 minutes of daily practice and will go to the gym here in NH tomorrow morning. Despite the somber nature of this trip my family has commented more than a few times about my weight loss so it's important to me to keep it up. I know my mom always wanted us happy in whatever we did so I'll continue with my fitness journey keeping that in mind.
    • Day 109- Putting drills on a putting green for 20 minutes.
    • Day 252: did a stack session. Did some slow rehearsal swings during breaks.
    • Day 82: 3/18/24 Tried a Stack session but could not certify my warmup. Finished with indoor chips and putting.
