I saw a tour player took off his shirt until half naked during the 2nd round of Chrysler Champ.... first time in my life...

The TV guy commented "What happened to the PGA Tour?"

Did the guy got fined for doing that???

Actually, it was Doug Barron, and it was in the first round on Thursday. He was wearing a white shirt, and his ball landed in some water. Barron didn't want to ruin his nice shirt, so he took it off.

I hope I don't ever have to witness that sight again, but he shouldn't be fined for it. He had to do what he had to do.

I do believe he'll get fined. PGA Tour policy has a dress code. Just imagine John Daly "needing" to take a shirt off for some reason.

IBF was fined for stripping to his boxers to play that one shot out of the water. Players must wear pants, after all.

I didn't know that. You are right then, he probably will get a fine for the shirt incident. The guys on the Postgame Show gave it more attention than it needed to get.

In the post round interview Doug was a little embarrassed. He had only two holes to play and should have spared golf fans the sight. Tacky.

I ripped the video and uploaded it:

"Look at that belly button. You could fit two Titleists in there."

I think Tour Golfers need body conditioning.... (this includes Phil Mickelson)

Be in shape at least like VJ Singh or Ernie els...

lol, he should have kept his shirt on indeed!

Btw, wouldn't most golfers benefit from looking somewhat like Tiger and be in the shape that he is in?
