Iron Recommendations?

Hi forum peeps,

I realized -after- I got my irons that a lot of people here had some very interesting things to say about Cleveland CG4's. I realized that in hindsight, it would have been a very good idea to bounce some ideas off of this forum before making a purchase.

So, considering my handicap, I thought I may look at the following. I've provided linkage just in case you're not sure what product I'm thinking of:

These claim to be really long... really long while retaining some real forgiveness. Has anyone here hit these?

Callaway X-18's. With the new X-20's coming out, the price on these is dropping. I'm sure I don't have to put up a link for this one. This is one of the few Callaway products I can get for well under a grand.

Minzuno. At first I was really thinking of the MX-900's. But at such a price, I was going to write off Mizuno until the recent release of the MX-25 which isn't cheap but still a few hundred dollars cheaper than MX-900's. And even cheaper yet is the also new MX-19's. The Miznuno's typically are a handsome club to me which does count for something (maybe not so much with the MX19).... Has anyone hit these?

I'm a fan of Taylormade but their pricing on irons is way outta my league.

And finally, has anyone swung the new Nike Ignites? They're replacing the 3iron with a hybrid right out of the box. I am fine with this and I really like the fact I don't have to buy the hybrid after the fact (which is probably what I'd end up doing anyway).

So if anyone has some words of wisdom on the above clubs, I'd appreciate knowing your experiences before I test them out.

Oh I'll be demoing them for sure. No doubts about it. I just like to hear feedback on what members might have experienced.

Mizuno has been something I've never tried. I know they have a great rep as a player iron, but I'm not sure about something for a player of my skill level.
