I have the normal stock scotty cameron cord grip that is worn down. So i figured this winter would be the best time to get a new grip and get use to it before the season starts again. Any suggestions on which grip??

Glad to see you wrote "cord" rather than "chord". Makes a nice change

The Pingman grip is excellent. Winn AVS is a nice grip if you like a softer feel. I hear great things about Iomics. Probably anything except a skinny SC grip. Really, it's personal choice, like most things equipment related.

In the race of life, always back self-interest. At least you know it's trying.

If you could get your hands on a mizuno putter grip, those grips are amazing!

I'm using the Winn AVS Pistol midsize on 3 of my putters right now. The shape and feel are terrific, especially if you are used to a larger grip. Plus, the stock SC cord grip is awful feeling.

I used a midsize Winn grip for more than 10 years, and then a Scotty Cameron Baby T with 6 (yes, six) extra wraps of tape on it for two. Switched to a Cameron Studio Design (little bitty thing, a bit Ping-man like) last year and adore it. I have big hands (can palm a basketball with either) but love the small grip. The greatly reduced weight of the grip as compared to the previous two put an amazing amount of weight BACK into the clubhead, or at least gives the head much heavier fell/swingweight/all that stuff.

You know what they say, once you go skinny little bittly thing, you never go back.

How much is the iomic? Scotty grips are sold at my Golfsmith (Baby T and Studio Design) for $14 I think. I bought off eBay for $12 or something. Still a little pricey for a grip, but you may want to consider it...

IOmic's are about $14 on ebay

i just bought 2, but considering selling them, and going back to a PINGman blackout or a SC Cord or Baby T i seem to have putted my best w a PING man w two wraps of tape seems to fit me hand just perfect and you still get a good feeling off the putter face with it the PINGman blackouts are like $8 for 2 on ebay as well anyone want an IOmic Standard white or orange???? ;)

I always hated the idea of having a Ping or Mizuno grip on a Scotty putter or something like that, just doesn't seem right to me. I've also never had much luck regripping putters. I can never seem to get the grip on straight like when it came from the factory.

Cleveland Launcher DST 10.5*

Ping G15 17*

Mizuno MP-53 4-PW with GS-95

Mizuno MPT-11 Black Nickel 52* and 58* with GS-95

PINGman blackout is my favorite putter grip by far, and it's dirt cheap. Never cared for the Baby-T that came on my Scotty, I've now got the PINGman on the Scotty and a Srixon, and (ironically), my PING putter will get one when the stock grip wears out.

mine came with the red baby T, I seem to like it.

I have this grip on mine as well and like it.

The Pingman and Scotty Cameron Studio Design are VERY similar. I'm talking Anser-Newport similar
