Went to the range today...to work on my swing of course. Also, I came to work on hitting a draw. I've "tried" before, but usually managed to slice it somehow. Anyways, I actually hit draws on purpose today. The ball flight was a bit flat on some and had less power, but I think I skimmed the ground before hitting those shots. All in all I was pretty pumped to hit draws on purpose. I did hit some dead pushes, but I'm not going to master the shot in one session. It's nice to see the ball curve the way I want it to instead of the other way around.

Another thing I did was take notes on my session as far as how my swing felt and how any adjustments affected ball flight, contact, etc.

First note was "don't slouch over". I have a tendency to bend over more and more as I set up. I took a video last week and noticed it big time. So, now I'm concentrating on keeping my posture during my waggle and not slowly bending over and causing some serious chunks.

Second note was "keep tee in arm pit". Like the previous note, it's a pretty simple thing that will ingrain itself eventually. But, sometimes I get way too long on the backswing and this swing thought (if you will) keeps things under control.

Third note was "Take it back easy". I have the tendency to get tense on my back swing. Actually, that was the only way I took it back for a long time. This year I figured out that an easy swing generates way more club head speed and a better swing overall. Honestly, this is the only swing thought I have on the course. I still have to convince myself that an easy swing is going to hit the ball further, but this is something I'm still working on.

Final note was "HANDS LOW". This is kinda weird to explain, but I know the feeling when I'm swinging. Basically, it means keep my arms and hands close to me when I'm swinging through the ball. I've discovered this feeling in the past, but always seem to lose the thought along the line somewhere.

I would say keep weight on front leg also, but that's becoming automatic.
