I purchased a check-and-go...You know, the gadget that spins the golf ball at a high rate of speed and then marks the equator/center of the ball with a permanent marker.

I am not a 100% about it. To tell the truth (in my opinion) it does not really make a difference.

Any different or similar opinions?

One of my playing buddies swears by his. I think it's a nutty product. Next they will have something that analyzes the face of drivers/woods looking for the 'real sweet spot', analysis of the shaft (wait they have that already! PUREing of shafts?!), etc. IMHO, there are too many gadgets related to golf....just my $0.02.
