I'm new to golf & played several of the courses in the Pocono's last fall ... curious if anybody has had any good experiences with courses in this area ... thanks !

Buck Hill was a decent track if I remember correctly

Pocono Manor was ok

Surrounding area

Eagle Rock in Hazelton was pretty nice

Sand Springs I've played a couple times when it's in good shape it's beautiful

Mountain Valley is a really nice course

Stone Meadows on RT 115 near White Haven is a pretty decent course. (bit pricey)

Thornhurst is worth the drive for the cheap price (10$ to play their 9 hole course all day)

Wilkes-Barre Municipal Golf Club is good too. (wide fairways n decent greens) - twilight**
