I was thinking of buying one of these style wedges. I was planning on buying a sand and lob first, maybe a pw, gw later, not sure yet though. My clubs right now are '04 big bertha's. with a handicap in the high 20's. My main question is from what I have read it seems that everybody likes the cavity back of the CG11 I was just wondering, is the CG11 just as good as the CG10 in most areas and better in some like forgiviness. or does the fact that the CG10 not having a cavity back give it some quality's that some players might like. like more control more shot making ability. If possilbe can anybody who has used one or both post pros and cons of each one. feel, forgiviness, build quality, etc. thanks in advance.

The CG 11 is AWESOME, you MUST have a gap wedge (50), and sand wedge (54) in this club. I wish I had bought the CG 10 for my lob wedge (58) because it is a tad easier to flop open. DO NOT buy ANY 3-dot (high bounce options). The black finish is awesome too. The CG 10 and 11 feel identical, but the 11 is easier to control in my opinion. YOU CANT GO WRONG with these... In the last two years I've gone through 4 or 5 wedge sets till I hit on these and I'm SET now. I had a set (GW - LW) of T.M. RAC's, Cleveland 588's, Titleist Vokeys, Wilson Staffs, and Callaway Forged+'s. The only ones that came close were the Callaway's.

I've got 3 CG10s and I LOVE THEM. Gunmetal finish. Haven't hit the CG11, but I like the look of the CG10 over the CG11....just personal...

I have a 52* Cg11 and I absolutely love it. Its very easy to hit. I think you might have better success with a cg11 as well being a high handicapper.

This is how they describe the two on their website:

They say this about the CG11
"CG11™ wedges give golfers a little extra forgiveness and stability while providing the same great versatility and dependability as the CG10 wedges."

And this about the CG10
"Voted "Editor's Choice" by Golf Digest in 2005, CG10™ wedges are widely hailed as the best feeling wedge Cleveland Golf has ever made."

Both are amazing, the CG11 is just a little easier to hit.
