I recently moved into a new house with an unfinished basement.

I am hoping to set-up a large hitting mat and net in there. Can anyone advise a mat that can sort of 'replicate' the fairway? I heard a while back that there was a mat that 'gave' like you're hitting on the fairway. Also, is it good idea to use the same mat for chipping?

Any advice will be helpful. Thanks.

Depending on cash flow,

Thanks Alan; the price is pretty steep. I did find something else at TGW. Any opinion on this?

When I worked in the golf shop we had a net in there, It was a purpose built net but I don't see why you couldn't make one out of scafolding poles and some strong builders netting. Look at http://www.sportnetting.com/mats.htm?source=overture for a cheap mat and your away.

I saw a really good range tee which has adjustable tees to save you lifting up all the time. They're called "practees" and I found them on ebay.co.uk.

Not sure about the USA, sorry.
