I was playing with my grandson at the time (last summer), who was 10. We had milkshakes afterward.

I think a hole in one whether at a par 3 course or not is pretty cool. Regular golf courses have short holes. Also as far as I know no one complains when the pros make aces on holes that are playing 125 sometimes, they still make SportsCenter lol

even their hole outs make top 10.

I came close on a 135 yarder where the hole was not visible from the tee ( a small mound between green and teebox). It was an SCGA event where they were marking closest to the hole. Someone before me got it real close to the hole; on a dead line from the tee and placed the marker in the same spot.

When I came up over the hill, there was my ball against the marker also on a dead line from the tee...would id have rolled the last few inches and gone in? who knows, but I was stoked anyways.!.I got the birdie anyway!!

I holed one out from about 205 yards once, couldn't find my ball for about 3 minutes!! lol
