Bionic Gloves Are Terrible

I'm a lil surprised to hear this.  I've been unsing these gloves (w/the black inset) for 2 yrs now and the only ptoblem I have had was a slight tear from a thumb nail that I hadnt kept trimmed.  And at $40??? thos I think i might go to something else.  I haven't paid over $25 for the 3 I have purchased. (got a new one in the bag)

I've read some pretty blistering reviews of Bionic gloves - mostly due to them lacking in the robustness dept.  I play almost exclusively in TM H2O all-weather gloves anymore....both hands.

I have a slight arthritis in my fingers and have used the Bionic glove (cadet medium) for three years. Each glove has lasted at least 6 months and I play at least twice a week year round. I have never torn or ripped the gloves.

Possibly you do not grip the club properly causing a tear in the glove?


as for me, I think Bionic are terrific!

I've used Bionic gloves for ages and the only issue I've ever had was wearing of the palm pad due to incorrect grip on one pair and getting "baggy" on another pair that were used for a week of golf in 40degree heat where my hands got soaked every day.

 

I'd suggest figuring out what's wrong with your swing to cause such damage to them.

Can't agree with this at all. Have used these gloves for years without problem and I play 100+ rounds a year. Always paid around $24 for them.

I echo the "no problem" crowd.  I've bought three and they last almost an entire season.   I love this glove and have never had an issue.

I've not been a member long and choose to read the new posts daily.   Even if the posts are old, to me, they have relevance.    I appreciate everyone that shares information that could help my game.

Thanks for your interest Denny....I have arthritis and have used the Bionic glove for over 6 years....they are a thicker leather in addition to the pads, allowing them to last 3 or 4 times longer than regular gloves. That being the case, they are a bargain at $25.



Afte Christmas, I had a gift card to Dicks and purchased a similar Bionic glove for $15. The backs are synthetic instead of leather. It is now March, I have played 2 times a week wearing the new version and it is still in stellar condition. Thanks Bionic!
