I have a diamani blue stiff flex shaft in a titleist 910 d2 9.5 degree and i hit it high and left just like my last driver.  My swing speed is 105 - 110.  anyone have any suggestions on how to lower my ball flight and to stop hooking the ball.

there are several ways to cause that type of ball flight and without seeing it on video in slo mo yer gonna get ALL kinds of well intended advice and comments, like this one.  you could describe what you're feeling in the swing but then when viewed on video all kinds of other things can come into play.

Some things that need to be taken into consideration are-

the ACTUAL, measured, loft and face angle of the club head

the ACTUAL flex properties of the shaft

the angle of the club head coming into the ball or "angle of attack" and whether it's open or closed at impact

Without at least that much info it's a crapshoot.

Following tweaky's lead, I'd say we need more information on your swing and club. Since this is the Clubs... forum, let's consider the club and shaft.

Titleist 2011 Catalog shows four different weights (63, 73, two 83 grams) of Diamana Blue shafts available for their drivers. We'd need to know which weight Dia Blue shaft you had, and look at the flex, kickpoint, and torque specs for it.

Given your swingspeed, a shaft with high kickpoint and less torque might help, or possibly a heavier shaft. But, this assumes that shaft and not swing set-up is the problem.

I would suggest a trip to the launch monitor is in order to get baseline data on your driver's performance. BTW, a new Diamana Blue shaft would run you about $275.

You might benefit from a better shaft. While the shaft says it is a Diamana Blue, it is actually a cheaper version of it that is offered by Titleist. The real Blue Board has technology that is far superior and therefore has a price tag that is almost equivalent to the price of the driver itself.

Just a feedback . The Diamana Kai'li / Ilima / A'hina made for Titleist are made in China ( printed on the shaft of the 910D/F/H) And the actual Diamana are made in Japan ...and there are huge $ delta between them.

Exactly, they may have the same name, but they are by no means the same shaft. Any shaft that you get in a stock driver is just a lesser form of the real shaft it is made to resemble. Most of them are co-engineered by the company that sells the club, in the previously mentioned clubs Titleist co-engineers these shafts alongside Mitsubishi.
