I am around a 18 handicap and getting better. I am getting the new Callaway Razrs. My average swing for irons is 85-88mph. Should I be looking at stiff or regular shafts? Also they give me many different options to choose from. Will you suggest one between NS PRO950 steel shafts, Project X(5.0 5.5 6.0 6.5) steel shafts and Dynamic Gold 300 steel shafts. Thank you for your help!

The clubhead speed with irons are often 10-20 mph different from PW to longest iron, so your readings depend a bit on what kind of clubs you were hitting.

Can't tell for sure without more data maybe, but I would think you could go with stiff shafts. Which type of shaft is something you have to figure out by trying them. They may have some differences in kickpoint too, which the store you are visiting should help you with.

Each shaft manufacturer lists their respective shafts and recommended swing speeds on their sites. I wish I would have known this before buying an r9 with a completely wrong shaft flex. My driver speed was 81 on avg and golf galaxy recommended regular flex. After looking at aldila's site it said I needed senior. Anything above 90 is reg flex. y

My Swing speed is 90-95 and on both fittings I've had the last 2 years I was told Regular Flex. I'm comfortable with my Iron shafts, but there are times I feel I may need to be in a Stiff driver shaft

My swing speed for a 6 iron is around 85 and I use DG SL R300. I've heard on this forum that the Nippon NS Pro950 are a bit soft and stiff would be a regular in heavier shafts.
