I have a complete set of Walter Hagen MS2 and I am liking them quite a bit. Before that I was going to buy the Maxfli C3 3,4,5i hybrids, 6-GW but I kind of jumped the gun and bought the full set. I have the Maxfli C3 driver, and whenever I go to Dick's, I just want to buy the C3's. Do you think I should return the WH and get my $200 back, then save up the other $100 for the C3's, but then I would have nothing but old blade irons to use for the "saving up" period.

-Thanks P.S I'm still in Middle School and I don't have alot of $$$ to spend.

i have the maxfli c3's. they are excellent clubs in my opinion, they feel great, and give a lot of forgiveness. i know where you are at, being in middle school and not having money, but it is totally worth it. im about to be a junior in high school, captain of the golf team and play with the c3 irons. i only play with the irons, hybrids and putter though. i use a taylormade burner driver, a callaway big bertha gems 3 wood and a nike sas. sumo2 5 wood and a taylormade rac sandwedge. i just feel that the driver and woods and wedges just arent good quality. so its def. worth it to wait. hope this helps! ~ps. im the only lefty on the team! people say i hit on the wrong side of the ball at matches. lol

Thanks, that's what I was thinking. I own the C3 Driver, and in my opinion, I love it, I hit around 240-260 with it. The only problem is that at the driving range, it breaks the sound barrier.  When I was holding them, the shafts seemed a little flimsy on the hybrids, should I expect that?

the shafts do seem to be flimsy, but when you hit them, its amazing, they feel really strong, like they sling the club head through the ball. and the hybrids are really well balanced. i like them especially since they have the UST proforce v2's on them, which some pro's use on titlest drivers and hybrids. i havent done anything to the grips because lamkin feel the best to me because they are thin and i can really feel the club at impact. and i wouldnt worry about the driver, if you like it, who cares what it sounds like! hope this helps!

Yeah, just went to Dick's today, I found out that, I couldn't return the clubs I just bought, because I didn't have ll the packaging and/or has to be re-sellable. Oh well, better start saving my pennies.
