I own currently own 2 putters(TM ghost Daytona & Callaway Apollo S2H2) and am thinking about adding a 3rd putter(most likely a mallet or half mallet) to my arsenal. How many putters do you have and how often do you switch putters if you have multiple putters?

At one time I had three putters; a Scotty Newport 2, an old Ping, and a Voodoo by Never Compromise. When one "misbehaved" I would put it in time out and bring out another.

And then it happened.

I found an Odyssey Mini-Marxman. Since buying it 5 months ago it has never once let me down. In order to make the most of things I went ahead and traded the Scotty in on a new Callaway Driver. (Got $175 in trade for it - really happy considering I owned it for 5 years and only paid $225 for it - it was in really good condition but with the sale price on the driver I could not pass it up) I sold the Ping to a friend for $30. And the Voodoo is still sitting in my spare club closet - it was an anniversary gift from my wife and will not ever be sold, traded, or otherwise.

Will I ever buy another putter? Without a doubt. I have tested out the long putters, the backstrykes, and and even the new Scotty's. But for now I have what I want to be playing and I won't be buying anything new anytime soon.

My gamers;

Scotty Cameron Button Back (RWB)
Scotty Cameron Button Back (stock)
Scotty Cameron Studio Select (RWB)
Scotty Cameron Studio Select (Purple/Black)
Scotty Cameron Studio Select (stock)
Scotty Cameron TeI3 (Sole Stamp)
Scotty Cameron TeI3 (Gen1, deep mill)
Scotty Cameron Art of Putting
I have a few others laying around the house too, including the one that I gamed in high school (an old Callaway mallet). I don't game any of those though. The vast majority of the time (like 95% of the time), the RWB BB is what I game. Though I've found myself gravitating to the AOP more and more lately (greens have been slow and, mentally, I tend to do better w/out an insert on slow greens). There all such nice putters that I have a hard time deciding sometimes. With the exception of one of my BB's, they're all the same length and weighted the same. It would require a very sensitive feel to tell the difference between them in a "blind taste test." They each have their own unique feel though. A few pics; Sorry, no pictures of the deep milled TeI3. I sent it out for some work and haven't gotten it back yet.

Too many to count!!  I use 3 different putters depending on green speed. For slow greens I use a 48" Nickent Pipe Dream.  On medium greens I use a 41" Ping Doc 17. On fast greens I use a 35 1/2" Maxfli Tad Moore TM-3(Japanese Version).  When I see a putter I like I buy it.(used of course)  If I don't like it I sellit!

It depends on the work. The paintfill I do myself. It's pretty easy to do and quite a bit of fun to play around with various colors. I have my club builder take care of matching the weights (except the SS's) and grips. All of my putters run 33" so if a club needs to be shortened, I have my builder reshaft it so that I can restore it to stock later if I want. The deep milling/refinish on the TeI3 was done by BOS (I've also used K&J; in the past as well). My deep milled TeI3 looks just like this one (except mine is a standard Newport, not a Newport 2); That one was actually my inspiration. Sweet stick.

Only one that counts! ;-)

I probably have 15 or so lying about. I'll be selling a lot of them here shortly.

I own three, an old Ram that has the ram horn on the end. I bought a basic Ping Anser last year that I really liked and then this year I picked up a Ping Scottsdale Tomcat that I liked the weighting of even better. I don't like to change clubs, once I find something I like and fits my game I tend to really stick with it until it wears out.

Wow Rebby, what a beautiful collection. And to think that some people believe golf clubs aren't a possible investment.

But now the loaded question for you...

Which one if your favorite? The "go to" putter that is in the bag when you are playing against a course or another player who you really want to beat. I mean, with that many incredible putters to choose from, it has got to be hard choosing the fav.

RWB Button Back without a doubt. I game and practice with that putter more than anything else and am most familiar with the feel of the BB over the others.
Lots and lots, I've got sc and bb's taken as trade ins. I've owned, borrowed or used too many to count. I got so into it I had to design and patent my own design, the ion1. Frankly, its got a true feel only 100% cnc billet provides, I can't even play otr putters anymore. Two that I wish I never got rid of, an old bullseye fluted shaft and odyssey tri hot 2.
