Tiger fan or not???

Watching the golf the other day and was captivated by the great mans skill and sheer professionalism. Turned to the father and said he is amazing and he says "can't stand the man, he is sooo cocky and arrogant".

Though i would run it past you guys if you like tiger or not. (alough i dont like Mickleson but not for discussion on this thread)
Golf is a game whose aim is to hit a very small ball into an even smaller hole, with weapons singularly ill-designed for the purpose.

I really enjoy watching Tiger play.
Cocky or confident?
I have been told (in my other life) that I was cocky... and I may have been, but I had to maintain my edge, and the only way I knew how to do that was evidently taken as cockiness. So be it. It kept me alive.

I think it comes with the territory. Being in the spotlight all the time, being "The World Number One" all the time, you almost need that extra confidence to stay on top... if you lose that, who knows?

He is a great player, and seems to be a great person too. He does a lot for Charity and his foundation, and I am just hoping he builds a course that I can afford to play one day.

Tiger is the best golfer in the world... it is still early to define as the most successful player in history... but right now he is the number one.

A lot of people may perceive his talent, dominance, and confidence as arrogance, but I personally disagree.

When you are the best, you look and act like the best.

In a recent interview before the Australian Open Final, Roger Federer, who is reigning supreme in Tennis, said: " I know that I am very dominant and I will win this tournament." Did he sound arrogant? To me not, because it is the bare truth... whether you like it or not.

I have opened another thread regarding Tiger's presence on the Tour and in Golf. It looks pretty evident to me that Tiger has given a lot to the modern Golf. More people following, more people playing, more people making money.

He is the king. "Long Live to the King!"

There is a difference between being extemely confident and arrogance. The difference is respect. I don't feel Tiger crosses that line. He respects his competitors. I find (My perception) Phils false modesty more irritating because I feel he is being insincere. Sergio Garcia talks more than Tiger and backs it up less, now that is irritating.

I love Tiger and find him to be a very humble champion. I don't think he is arrogant just passionate and confident.

    • Most the stuff I found on Instagram and just copy and mix it up. a few of my favorites: Clean>Squat>Press> March Around the body >catch >Squat> press I also hold a the kettle bell upside down with both hands on the handle. Squat when I stand back up I lift the kettlebell up over and behind my head and hold then repeat
    • Not sure this is the best thread but, if the rain holds off, today is my 1st round of the year.  Getting ready I can not find my Shot Scope.  I guess I put it away too well for the winter and thus that is may "Winter Depression".  I'm sure I put it somewhere that made sense at the time.
