I think he will. He's got a lot of golf to go, and until he does, he'll still be motivated to do so. I could see him, as soon as he wins 19, retiring.

I think he will. He's got a lot of golf to go, and until he does, he'll still be motivated to do so. I could see him, as soon as he wins 19, retiring.

I really think he will get to 20 major wins. He is just that "driven", and that is honestly the key in my opinion. Serious injury aside, Tiger will accomplish whatever goals he sets for himself, and everyone knows he wants to break Nicklaus' record for most majors. So I definitely think he will break it in his late 30's, but that is just my thoughts on it. I think he will settle for a solid round number of 20.

This is a tough one for me. It seems like Tiger's swing is messier than his "Pre Haney" swing. He's got grit, determination, and is the best in the world today despite have a couple of majorless years.

Will Tiger maintain his level of excellence long enough to do it? I'm going to say that Tiger is going to own his recent swing changes, stick with them and edge Nicklaus out a few years down the road despite the level of competition that he's facing these days.

I know that Tiger won his 9th major earlier than Jack won his 9th, but this is a new era. I don't think Tiger will ever get to 18 just because of the depth of competition nowadays. The talent pool gets deeper every year and by the time Tiger gets in his mid thirties, it will be so much harder to win majors than it was for Jack in his mid thirties. It certainly can be done (look at Vijay winning so often at 40) but I look for Tiger to win about 15 or 16.

He will do it. Before you know it, he will be at 13 or 14.

He has been on the tour for about 10 years now, officially? Won 9 majors in 8 years with the bulk of them piling up in 2001 and early 2002.

I think if he can tweak that driver of his and get his one plane golf swing smoother, he will be a machine.

      Just want to share a quick update with everyone. I went to the range the week before last, even though I took it easy no significant pain occurred just a slight twinge when I swung my #4 hybrid. The most encouraging news was no soreness the next morning. However I think switching back to graphite shafts is definitely gonna happen, my mp15's were fitted with X shafts and having something lighter will help.
