So, i have a pair of Ecco golfstreet premiers and i love them to death, but with my SS (116) i find that i slip quite a bit more frequently with them than a traditional golf shoe.  So, what shoe would you recommend? FYI, i have a wide foot so adidas dont fit very well.
Thanks in advance for any advice!

Adidas Tour 360's are comfortable, but I love the look of my FJ icons.

I have 13W feet and have two pairs of FJ Contours in different styles.  I love them.  However, I discovered that I don't fit all FJ series in a 13W and sometimes have to go XW.  Forget Adidas, their only widths are narrow, narrower, and ridiculously narrow.

Ecco Bioms seem very stable for me. They have an interesting footbed with three sets of spikes at the heal and I find them rock solid on hills and wet grass. Also super comfortable.

If you have somewhat narrow feet, try some of the running shoe companies.

The M width for some of the Nike and Adidas golf shoes fit me justs fine - no need for narrow-width custom order.

Focus, connect and follow through!

If who has somewhat narrow feet?

The OP should check out the Contours or something else from Foot Joy. Or maybe just get some Keens.

I have relatively wide feet so I've found foot joy and puma seem to be the fitting for me.

Just noticed this bit. I'm not sure what my swing speed is. I can generally get the ball out there pretty good, but it must be less than 116 though, because I can hit the ball just as hard while wearing flip flops.

Hahah i sense some doubt here? .
Its because im fairly short (5'10 on the dot) and i have a really active lower body. My right foot will slide out on the backswing if im not careful

I just bought Some Adidas Tour 360 4.0 Sports (project 50/50)  breathable, very comfortable and feel very stable.  But Since you have Wider feet FJ might do the trick.  Though Adidas should make a wide size.

Good luck in your search.

I used to have active feet. Practicing barefoot and in flip flops cured it.

I just returned a pair of FJ Sports.  I like the look but the 13W wasn't wide enough...unlike the Contours.  The FJ Sports were completely different from the Contours and I was quite surprised.
