Opening Day with the Card's and the Met's tonight on ESPN2.

Keep a look out for the Cubies they are going to turn some heads even though wont make it past the playoffs, just excitted to see big Lou turn around a program!

Lots of action happening this year in baseball, 5 guys going for 500 HR's. Bonds breaking Aaron HR record. And a few guys maybe getting 3,000 K's.

Opening day - ouch, if you're a Red Sox fan. I love Curt Shilling for helping to break the curse - but he looked real hittable yesterday. A 7 - 1 loss against the Royals!!! Like I said, "Ouch." That really hurts.

  • 2 weeks later...
Just remember none in last 5 years, October Collapses..

Mr. April he is...walk off grand slam and walk off 3-run homer in the same month. Some people don't get that in a career. Even Captain Clutch Derek Jeter only has 1 career grand slam.

Well it is the old saying great pitching beats great hitting...I will give this series to the R-Sox but I wouldn't say that their great pitching shut down the Bronx Bombers. I think it was more that the Yank's lousy pitching couldn't help thier great hitting win.

Sox pitching was a little off, actually-
Funny, showed the holes in Yankees pitching at every level.
Perhaps their plan to give up 5 runs a game but score 9 was a little demented?
Sox did hold them to 5 per game, seems like a lot.
Bahahah.
Can't say the Yankees did not take this series seriously: Pettite in relief in the 7th? On 2 days rest?
PS- back to back to back to back HOMERS!
