i have recently been fitted by mizuno for a driver the shaft selection were the standard stock shaft and the graffaloy pro launch blue as i have a pro launch in my current driver a callaway great big bertha11+ i decided to stay with the pro launch.

with the callaway i hit a low draw but with the mizuno i am just so inconsistent the worse shot is a high slice the the mizuno is one inch longer but feels very whippy through impact.would reducing the length of the shaft solve the problem?

If it feels whippy, shortening the shaft would help because it would stiffen the flex.
