Before I state the obvious, I'd first like to thank Alan Olson for his service as our Community Director for the past several months. Alan filled in a great hole and provided some great services to the members of this forum. He's just transitioned to a new "real life" job, and will still be an active member of the site and the forum, but I'd like to wish Alan well at this time with his new job and his new-found free time. ;-)
I'd also like to welcome Mike McLoughlin on board as our new Community Director. Mike will expand upon the role Alan filled and will be the primary point of contact for contests, promoting interesting (and often under-utilized) features of the forum, promoting the posts and threads and member-created content, and thus promoting the members themselves. Mike has some great ideas on how to continue to grow The Sand Trap and to make it even greater.
No doubt many of you have seen Mike on other forums as "mvmac," and perhaps even his YouTube channel. You know and understand that Mike has a brilliant passion for golf, the golf swing, and for communicating with like-minded folks!
Please join me in welcoming Mike to his new role and position. Welcome aboard, matey!
