So the thought is getting that left leg straighter sooner, like P7.5 to P8.
That is me being picky though.
Yeah - I haven't really focused on A7xxx that much because I've been working so much on other items... My Swing thread kind of documents the process todate:
1.) Right Elbow placement (A4)
2.) Grip changes
3.) Left Arm Straight
4.) Right Forearm Takeaway
5.) Hinging of Left Wrist
6.) Right Leg Flexion
7.) Pivot Sequencing
8.) Arms/Shoulders/Hips/Legs - Rhythm and Sequencing
I'm just really at the point where I feel like I have a better understanding of what the hell I should even be doing to get into a TGM/MORAD/SNT/5SK swing pattern. I list all of these various instruction - as I've 'barrowed' pieces from each. And tried to incorporate them into my swing. So the vast majority of my time has been simply educating myself on what is good instructional doctrine to incorporate into my swing.
Now I think I have a lot of the pieces - and just need to clean up a lot of the areas where I breakdown.
(1.) A4 needs to be cleaned up with my right elbow placement... Been a major focus - but still not nailing it yet.
(2.) A6xxxx Right leg collapsing toward the ball - needs to be eliminated - I'm working on this now. It is a pivot breakdown which I just need to learn the 'dance step'.
(3.) A7xxxx Left leg needs to straighten earlier - again a pivot breakdown.
(4.) It looks like I need to learn how to get a little better lag (in the transition) - I think this is simply experimenting with my grip pressure - but I don't want to start toying with this until I clean up the mechanics of the swing.
Right now - I'm focused on the pivot - to clean up the legs. So perhaps early flexion is something I can try? I'm not sure?? I need to discuss it with my instructor(s).
