Yes I would keep the grip the same for a full swings.  Grip usually doesn't effect the the curvature that much, unless in more extreme cases.  In other words if you used a "strong" grip and you hit draws, a "weak" grip won't automatically make it fade.  I'm sure you know this and want to share a great resource http://thesandtrap.com/b/playing_tips/ball_flight_laws

Same grip for all clubs. The only time I change my grip is in greenside bunkers - I weaken my grip, which opens the blade thru impact (old Gary Player tip). Ball pops out nice & soft.

But no, no way do you change your grip for a driver swing versus an iron swing. You ever seen a pro do that?

To me, the swing is always a battle between consistency and shotmaking.  For most amateurs (even good amateurs) who are weekend golfers, you'll probably score best trying to hit the same exact shot every time.  Pick whatever swing, shot shape, trajectory that you do best and use that for every shot, every club, making adjustments for wind, lie, etc.

I'm always trying to change my trajectory and shot shape to fit the situation.  When I'm trying something that deviates from my normal shot (i.e. I'm trying to hit a low cut with a mid-iron into a right-to-left cornering wind) I have maybe a 40-50% success rate pulling off the shot.  If I just hit a high draw and played for the wind to move it a lot, then my chances for success (hitting the middle of the green) would probably go up.  Of course, that would be boring.  I'm always looking for that perfect shot, and getting perfect shape and traj into a cornering wind, hitting the middle of the face and knocking it stiff from a difficult situation, is the ultimate thrill.

    • Day 35, June 8. Before leaving for work this morning (yes, I'm posting this quite late relative to the practice), I spent 15 minutes practicing at home, into a net.  This time, it was primarily 9-iron (full swings), with some UW (full and half) and a few 6-iron.
    • Day 73: just some mirror work today. Working on feels for being open and getting the front shoulder down.
    • I'm liking this. Finally getting down hands in front of my trail leg pocket consistently at A6 with much better clubhead position (relatively not as tipped out). I can really pressure the shaft through impact with good face control  from this position and stay in balance. Won my first one v one march 5&4 against a 4 hcp who routinely drives it 35-40 yards past me in the men's club match play . Frustrated him with some solid iron play and air tight putting.
    • Day 279 6-8  Worked on low point control skills work tonight. will be doing this for a few weeks. Tonight was just trying figure out how to get low point forward.  No ball.
