2) 12 years, but only the past 3 seriously

3) 9-10 GIR on average

4) 4-5 FIR (pretty abysmal, I know. My worst stat by far, but my home course still allows you a chance to hit the green from the rough most times if you can get creative)

5) 30-32 putts

6) 12 par or better per round

7) Over 100. Had a stretch in July where I was lucky enough to play every day for 4 straight weeks almost.

1) HC: 1.3. Lowest I got it was .1 two years ago, but that's when I was playing much more frequently, and that masked a lot of the issues I had.
2) Played seriously for about 9 years.
3) 10-11 GIR
4) 9.8 FIR
5) 32 putts
6) 12.6 holes of par or better per round.
7) Way too few. Hopefully many more in 2014.

EDIT: Changed FIR number. I had the percentage number and multiplied it by 18 to get 12.5. Of course, there are generally 14 fairways on a golf course, not 18. d2_doh.gif

Whoops ... I made the same mistake as Jamo originally ... My fairways are actually 4.8 per round. ;)

Give yourself more credit.  Typically there are 14 fairways so you hit 60%

2)  how long you have been playing golf 6 years

3)  average GIR per round 0.72

4)  average FIR per round 8.61

5)  average putts per round 34.02

6)  average number of holes par and better per round 1.04

7)  number of rounds you played in the last 12 months 60

All of my stats are worse than a year ago - lack of practice time does make a difference.

1)  current handicap: 0.7

2)  how long you have been playing golf: 30 years

3)  average GIR per round: 10.4

4)  average FIR per round: 9.6

5)  average putts per round: 31.5

6)  average number of holes par and better per round: most of them

7)  number of rounds you played in the last 12 months: 58 so far

It's been a disappointing year as both my GIR and putts have worsened over last year. I'm hoping that a recent lesson from my local teaching pro will help my ball striking going forward.

What I'm realizing, I don't play enough.   There are guys here that play over 100 rounds per year!   With my schedule and the weather in Michigan, I was only able to play about 30.

1)  current handicap: 17.7

2)  how long you have been playing golf: 2 years

3)  average GIR per round: 4

4)  average FIR per round: 8

5)  average putts per round: 33

6)  average number of holes par and better per round: not enough

7)  number of rounds you played in the last 12 months: 30

This is an intersting thread. I wish I kept stats because it would be useful to measure against those of a similar standard and those who are better than me. I may start doing it. The only other thing that would be interesting to see would be how many time a week do you practice(off course).
