I got the latest Golf Digest issue yesterday, it's the 'equipment issue'.  Among pics of the i20 irons (make me drool) was this little tidbit.  It's called the 'Nike Method Concept' putter.

Looks very different.  Not sure what to think, yet.  What do you guys think?

I saw the address pictures and I really do not like how it looks. I'm a big fan of their first method series and the method core series, but I really doubt this is going to move at retailers. Where the black bar curves isn't at the center where the sight line is and at address it more towards the toe. I think they're trying to promote turning the toe over on the follow through of the putt. To me, it was actually more a distraction than an actual aid.

Best Regards,
Ryan

Second only in abject ugliness to the Scotty Cameron Futura.

In the race of life, always back self-interest. At least you know it's trying.

My eyes can generally take ugliness, but add in the asymmetry and I don't think I could stand looking down at the thing. I don't even want to think about trying to make an on-plane swing with that thing.

At least the Futura was symmetrical and aligns toward your target. The Nike Concept just messes with your sight line.

have to say i tried it at local golf store yesterday, it is just fantastic, really not looking to buy a new putter to add to the 7 in the basement but it really rolled the ball better than any I have tried, I even went fact to the putting area three times tried outher putters but when I picked up the Nike it was like night and day, even the belly was great, Im now scouting  EBay to see if I can get a deal

I want to try this one IRL (my xbox guy is using it now, haha)

I've been somewhat intrigued by the whole Method series after Tiger stared using them, I mean if he likes them there has to be something to them

I kinda like the looks of this putter, I've used some pretty funky looking putters in the past though. But what really gets me is how great this feels putting. A friend of mine has one and I borrowed it for a round, I love this putter...one of the best I've used.

Bought one for $69.00 new lefty 35 " and love the feel which has aided me in getting the ball closer to the hole. Now the looks have taken some time but after a while, you simply forget the black bar and putts really stay on line.
