I'm considering reshafting myTour Edge Exotics xcg5 3 wood, replacing the stock Fujikura Blur shaft with a MItsubishi Diamana Blue Board.  The Blur is a 65 gram shaft, stiff flex.  I have a Blue Board 73g in my D910 driver, and have read many comments here advocating the BB as a "great FW shaft".

The BB is available in 63,73,83,93 gram shafts - so I'm looking for advice on selecting a shaft weight for my 3 wood.  I am leaning toward either s 73 or 83.  My swing speed with a driver is 95-100 mph, and I hit my 3 wood 220 - 235 yards.

I welcome your advice...

I've got a set with 65ish gram, a set with 70ish gram and a set with 80ish gram shafts. It's all a matter of preference. My thing is I refuse to waste a $300 shaft on a fwy or hybrid. Those kind of shafts only go in the big dawgs for me.

I had the same issue with my 3-wood.  I really liked the shaft in my 910D3 (ahina 72-gram).  I put the exact same shaft in my 3-wood and love it--in fact it's my favorite club.
