Speaking of black, what's with 80% of the leaders dressing like Johnny Cash? Are they all going to a funeral after the match?

After the TV break, TW and Phil will be 1 and 2. This is gonna be good.

And as an European, I have to ask: Why is there even an half an hour break?

Edit: Phil's second to 21 feet, Lefty is on fire

Want to know what's worse?  When the coverage is supposed to begin a half hour later, there will be 1-5 minutes remaining on some stupid NCAA basketball game.

Phil just hit the eagle putt.

Edit: and Tiger makes his birdie from 5 feet.

For some of them, that's their thing. Charl Schwartzel does it in tribute to Gary Player.

Looks like Tiger just 3 putt from 16 feet on #7?

Jeez. It's 2:57pm & there's still over 3 minutes left in that damn b-ball game. No way we get golf at 3p...unless they cut away?

From my experience, they will NOT cut away.

This is bullshit. Now Golf Channel is showing European PGA Tour. We're in limbo.

What a round by Phil so far! 5 under through 7.

And Tiger bogies the 106 yard par 3.

lol, yup.  And the team that has virtually no shot at winning (down 10 with 60 seconds left) is fouling on purpose and calling time outs which just lengthens the game.  I think the only time this doesn't happen is for majors, but don't quote me on that as I may just be remembering incorrectly.

Nobody outside of Ann Arbor & Champaign gives a rat's rump about this game. This is bullshit.

Is there some opposite of running up the score that we can call on the team doing this?

So, the last 2 minutes of this game have literally taken 15 minutes (at least....still 30 seconds left).

17 minutes is the final tally on the finish of that game.

Now there will be a commercial break, the intro to the Pro-Am, the recap, and then another commercial break, and then live action.  All told probably 22 minutes will have gone by, plus the 30 minute transition.

Meanwhile Phil & Tiger are playing the most picturesque holes of the course.

Stick a fork in Tiger, he's done for the day (barring some miracle and if so, I'll eat my words)
