I've got a Clicgear 3.0 and I'm looking at adding a GPS holder to it.  Right now I'm looking at the following - http://www.amazon.com/View-Golf-Cart-GPS-Holder/dp/B001BRWL5S/ref=wl_it_dp_o_npd?ie=UTF8&coliid;=I3FO80EPUXOWLA&colid;=2LLAJ79LTIOY2

I have a SkyCaddie SG4, which is pictured, so I'm assuming it fits well, and this specific holder appears to allow for other attachments to still work (like the umbrella holder).

So do any of you use this one or others?  Do they work well, meaning is there any concern that the GPS unit may fall out?

I've had that mount on my Sun Mtn Speed Cart for over a year now. No problems, works great and the umbrella holder still works. GPS is very secure because the nub on the back actually snaps in so you have to manually release a lever. It is also surprisingly durable too. Last season I let my cart go down a long hill by itself, hit some kind of debris and bottomed out on the GPS/handle area without damage and GPS stayed secured.

I too have that holder, but I was as fond of it as I am of this one, http://www.tgw.com/customer/category/product.jsp/SUBCATEGORY_ID/22022/refScid/1255

The one you are looking at has the GPS hanging down below the handle, the one I prefer the GPS sits above the handle.  It still allows for the umbrella holder.  Not much difference between the two, I just found it easier to read when the GPS was higher and closer to eye level then down low.  Which ever one you chose they work great, I swear by them, they really make selecting a club quick.  You can see the distance as you walk and you have an idea of the distance, it only take a second or two when you stop for the GPS to catch up and you can pull a club and go.  Much better than fumbling around with the GPS when it is hooked to your bag.

    • Eh. He broke ONE of Tiger's records. Youngest to be ranked #1 in AJGA. It didn't help that Tiger's birthday is in late December, or that Tiger didn't play many AJGA events before he was 15. Did he do any of these things? TIGER WOODS' AMATEUR VICTORIES YEAR WIN(S) 1984 10-and- under Junior World Golf Championships Boys    1985 10-and- under Junior World Golf Championships Boys    1988 Boy's 11-12 Junior World Golf Championships   1989 Boy's 13-14 Junior World Golf Championships   1990 Boy's 13-14 Junior World Golf Championships, Insurance Youth Golf Classic   1991 U.S. Junior Amateur, Boys 15–17 Junior World Golf Championships, Orange Bowl International Junior Look at some other AJGA Players of the Year. How many of these names do you recognize? A few, for sure. I assure y'all, I'm not trying to pee in your Cheerios. I just don't get what the point is. Okay. I get that, then. Thanks.
    • Day 56: 4/19/2024 Okay, even though I'll be teeing it up in a tournament in less than a week. I couldn't find time to get to the range today.  I spent time on the indoor putting mat.  And I spent time in front of the mirror with my 7 iron. Then again later with the driver.  I also thoroughly cleaned all my clubs.
    • Just stumbled onto the article.  Totally random and thought it might be interested to hear other thoughts. maybe I am tired of all the LIV crap and  this just caught my attention.
