Have you bought new clubs for 2012?

I picked up some Cobra S2s (listed in my sig) a few days ago and waiting for them to arrive at the house! I thought I had the bug bad before, but now I'm really itching since I made the purchase! Initially, I was going to jump on the new RBZ or Cobra AMPs, but I figured I would save $500 and make the wife really happy. When your wife is happy, you're happy!

Does anyone currently swing these? If so, what are your thoughts and what has your experience with them been like so far?

If you bought some new clubs for 2012, tell me what you picked up and why!

End of last season, I picked up a set of Titleist AP2s, on clearance for a ludicrous price. That's the main reason I got them, but also because when I was testing them out, I was so straight and so consistent with my distances that they were a no brainer. Buying those gave me the golf bug, and over the winter I picked up a Callaway Diablo Ocatane driver, and an Odyssey black series tour putter. I am so hyped for this season to begin its ridiculous.

Put together a Wishon 915HL 4 wood.  Hit it higher and straighter than any other fairway club I have, and it fills the gap between the driver and 3 hybrid almost perfectly.

I got a great deal at the end of last year on a new R11 driver and 3-wood. Then a month ago I ugraded my TM Burner 1.0's to the AP1 712's. The TM Burner 1.0's were a good club, but I did not care for the uniflex shafts, and got the S300 in the AP1's. Man! What a difference. The ball just comes off the face so solid!

I upgraded my bag pretty thoroughly this past fall. Over the winter I picked up a matching 3 iron and 2 more wedges. Haven't hit the wedges yet, but I've been killing the 3 iron. This winter/spring, I haven't bought anything...yet. I'm waiting for the new Adams Super fairway to come out to try, depending on how that goes, it'll be either that or a fast 12 3 wood that I'll pick up....

I love my MP-57's, so they're not going anywhere any time soon, but I did have them reshafted because of a swing speed change I've had during the past 2 years.  So they'll be like hitting new clubs.  I'm going from DG S300's to Rifle 5.0's.  I am buying new wedges before my Myrtle Beach trip in May, and I'm pretty set on getting Scratch 1018's.

U bet I did,all the clubs in my signature were all bought this year.All in all I spent about $1300.00 this year.Oh i forgot to mention my new shafts for my driver and 3 wood which cost 100 total.They were from AXE.What awesome shafts.Also the cash I spent on Golf Pride Muti-compound grips.At 9 bucks a grip that comes to $117 dollars for new grips,I play midsize.I did noy buy the wedges or putter this year.They r 2 yrs.old

Not new, but new to me... I bought a set of TaylorMade 200 3-PW.

I ordered the new AP1s last Wednesday and they arrived today.  They are the first set I have ever been fitted for and I'm really excited to get out and play.  Im also demo'ing a G20 4 wood, but may trade it for the new Mashie fairway by the end of the month.  I havent decided about a driver yet, but Im sure i can find a great used one somewhere.

Bought a new Cleveland Classic putter.  When TGW had them on sale for $39 I couldnt pass it up!  Beyond that I just bought some new to me used clubs: MX-700 driver, MP Titanium 3-wood, T-Zoid 5-wood, MP-53/MP-62 irons.

At least the whole bag isnt new, my wedges are the same ones I had last year.  There isnt much I could do to upgrade those.

I just finished buying all new equipment, now I'm just waiting for it all to arrive and be assembled.  I am so excited for this season!

I just got the R11S last week. Can't wait to try it on the course!

It looks and sounds awesome the R11s and the RBZ I can only imagine what it's like to hit. I am due to take an R11s out on Saturday to try. Can't wait. I was watching a YouTube review of the RBZ 3 wood. The guy was speechless after hitting it...lol it just sounded so sweet and went miles. He couldnt believe it!haha

I went for a set of Mizuno MP-59's. Absolutely fell in love with the sound/feel off the face/looks and I hit them a LOT better than my old clubs as I've been fitted for them instead of buying off the rack. Very happy with them indeed. The other thing I like about them is that they have regularly gapped "normal" lofts and controllable lengths, unlike the s*** TaylorMade are churning out lately:
