Demoed the Mizuno MP63's yesterday. Loved them! Hit them straight and long, best feeling when hit solid. I also demoed the TaylorMade MC. I didn't feel that it was equal to the Mizuno. I'm looking to buy a set of MC's soon and have been trying to demo them all.

What do you guys play? Just wanted to get everyone's feedback and advice.

Thanks

I play the callaway x-prototypes and love, Love, LOVE them!  They aren't much/any harder to hit than the TM MC, for me at least.  Now they are called the Razr X Musclebacks.  Callaway also has the Razr X forged which is a forged CB iron which i like too.

You should look at the Titelist 712 CB's, and ping S59(?) and Ansers.  they look sweet but i haven't hit them myself.

Anyway,  are you more of a picker or digger?  The callaways have alot of bounce and are better for people like me with a steep swing.  They have honestly made a HUGE difference in the size of my divots.   Like i said before, i really love my clubs.

The mizuno's are the opposite IIRC, low bounce irons which are better for people who are more pickers.

The S56's are the most recent ones in that line. I've heard mixed reviews on those ones but the majority seems to lead towards the "meh they're alright I guess" type response. The Mizuno MP-59's are crazy forgiving being a muscleback/half cavity type iron and is butter soft. The MC's from Taylormade are what I'm playing right now but if I had known I would have been able to get a PUD from Mizuno 3 weeks before hand I wouldn't have bought the MC's. The Razr X forged I can't say I've tried. Haven't found a lefty anywhere. The Titleist AP2's are a pretty good club as well. Not quite in the Realm of those irons I just listed but they're pretty close and I liked them. But every person has a different preference so don't let any negative reviews rule out a club for you. For all you know you could try one and go "holy shit I will never play another iron again....forever" where as someone might have said it was of quality closer to
